2012 Ladies Church Banquet with my mom scrapbook layout using CKC kit Nov 2019

This is working out well for me to scrapbook some old snapshots that include my mom and utilizing the compiled kit I put together to compete for Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog!

At the end of November, my siblings and I along with our families will be hosting an open house to celebrate our mom's 80th birthday! Her birthday was in October but school and working schedules of her kids and grandkids to travel has led to the decision to have the celebration at the end of Thanksgiving weekend.

Mom's favorite color is blue so the CKC inspiration kit for November is a great color palette to use for scrapbooking supplies, hence my copy cat kit.

From the above photo of the kit, I used the diamond patterned decorative tape, gray cardstock mat, some of the red-purple cardstock mat, butterflies....

From the above kit photo: the reverse side of the chalky chevron stripe cardstock is the collage pattern cardstock background of the layout (that has the doily print). And from the below kit photo, you can see the blue cardstock base and the blue and purple floral patterned paper:
