what: #532 theme is everything die-cuts; I tried to follow that except for the brown base, green background, large yellow circle and 2 small orange print circles (papers/cardstocks)

"Sharing Moments" card

 notes:

1. brown and green cardstocks = Art Skills

3. yellow cardstock = Neenah

4. black and white buffalo plaid wood laser type die-cut rabbit (came from a garland set) = bought at D.T.; added eyelashes and also inked the wood cut sides/edges

5. die-cuts from "Life Captured" by Simple Stories are: pea green with white dot tag strip, and the 'moments' tag/label

6. die-cuts from "My Story" by Simple Stories are: 'sharing' cut from a larger die-cut sentiment, 3 flowers/clusters, 1 bird; note: 'sharing' text was white but used black marker to color

Loving this AACB #80 DT inspiration card using 3 stamps for 10 March 2024

purpose: this posting is to share my contribution to Ally's Angels which is an anything goes theme competition challenge blog

when: #80 starts March 10 and lasts for almost a full month

what: I've discovered lately that my stamp collection has been neglected and I need to purposely start using them! So here's "A Trio of Roses"= 

notes:

1. pink cardstock base and white cardstock panel = Neenah

2. pink threads specialty paper = stash

3. three stamps from set by Creative Devotion/American Crafts

4. rose stamp was used 3 times, the lines came stacked liked that to be used whatever direction you want and I thought to make them look like stems; 'love' is just 1 of 3 words included in the set; there is also a laurel wreath, a heart, a bundle of dash marks.

5. roses were colored with a combination of markers and colored pencils; the letters of love were also filled with a soft pink colored pencil; and the white stamped panel was outlined with a red marker

5. stencil template was used for the circle focal backdrop = (old) Pebbles; the black 'film reel openings' marks were part of the stencil template; with all the blues and silvers, those black marks help visually create some definition

6. distressing on all cardstocks/papers with scissors blade

7. paint smooshing on circle backdrop accomplished using a scrunched textured paper towel

MTTC #528 Create Your Own Background Theme DT card for 23 February 2024
