who: Hello, I'm Becca S and this is one of two personal crafting blogs I have to share all my inspirational projects for the 13 challenge blogs I own! 

where: This posting features a DT project for Ally's Angels #109. The blog post link and date/theme badge will be shared at the bottom of the post. 

when: AA #109 starts August 15 and ends on September 12, 2026. 

why: Ally's Angels has had 2 previous owners/co-owner. I was a 'silent' co-owner for AA before becoming sole owner. Ally's Angels has been an important anything goes challenge in the crafting-blog world. With the offset start date at mid-month, having this anything goes theme available at the end of the month is extremely important for busy artisans. 

what: G is for Globe-- Hey, friend! In this huge world, I'm very thankful that our paths crossed and we've been friends for years!

why: I asked to join the CIP design team because I had been wanting to do a color-specific challenge blog. I joined in March 2026. So far I'm using what I have in my stash trying to avoid buying new pink things. The CIP theme is anything goes mostly in pinks.

who: I'm Becca S, a former teacher who is now embracing paper-crafting and some digital dabbling along with blogging. Lots of blogging!! Most of my friends have been unaware that there are crafting challenges in blog world. They're surprised that 'this' is a thing! :) <3

where: Ally's Angels is a challenge blog which I previously was a co-owner in a name only along with DT commitment. Then just over a year ago, I became sole owner taking over the management duties and staying as a DT member. A provided blog link for #106 will be found towards the end of this post. 

when: Ally's Angels is an offset timeframe starting on the 15th day of each month and ending on the 12th of the following month. May 15-June 12, 2026. 

why: Ally's Angels has always been 'anything goes' theme. I've taken time to do 2 different themed cards: BFF/friendship and birthday. 

what: Project #1 = "When we have each other, we have everything" card; inside it simply has "BFF" for best friends forever!

how-to for Project #1 = 

1. Simple Stories' Front Porch (2024) collection: doily print paper and self-adhesive brad (Love)

7. Paper Mate's Ink Joy gel pen set: blue used to in-line the two 'we' in the sentiment

why: This posting shares my 2nd design team project for Creations in Pink, a crafting challenge blog owned by Marlene A. The theme is anything goes mainly in pink. I'm trying to avoid buying more stuff right now and focusing on using stash--my treasures-- treasure hunting through some supplies on my table came up with this pretty unique card.

and a closeup scan to try to see the alcohol ink better; but I think the scanner light just faded it more; it's actually more like a neon pink in person

Earlier in 2025, I did stamping and inking techniques on several monthly AA cards and then in June, I switched to smooshed paint techniques. In August I'm switching back to ink.

Don't Throwaway Scraps Thursday #7 on 15 May 2025

why: it's been about 2 weeks since I've had a chance to make a scraps card for my DTST personal series! Part of the issue was 4 days spent working on sorting through 'stuff' still remaining at my mom's place. My out-of-state sister was here, so she took another car load to her home. Lots got donated in 2 trips last week and 1 trip yesterday. Some stuff got burned. (farm) Some stuff brought into town to our trash bin. And some more stuff came to my crowded little house! sigh....The scrap strips for this card had been weaved together last week but that was as far as it got. 

Last night I taped the underside joints/crossovers and then used a lot of dual-sided adhesive tape strips to get this secured to the square base. The outlining of the strips was also done last night. Then this evening, I added the ephemera and word stickers.

Loving my AA #94 DT card and shaped tag with AG theme on 15 May 2025

why: This post's purpose is to showcase a new DT inspiration card for #94 at AA or Ally's Angels. It's a challenge blog with anything goes theme each offset month. My choice this time was to punch the circle (sky/inked) then ink the front panel. Next was to stamp the sentiment within the circle. Lastly adding the embossed stickers and little hearts and dots to create a scene. That was describing steps for Project #1 Llama card. For #2, clear glue was used to adhere the little parachute guy to the chalkboard tag. Overnight dry time was needed. The tag came with the natural beige cording so I added red and black cording, added a bunch of little enamel dots to look like other stuff floating in the sky. Colorful alpha stickers arranged in a staggered order than completes the fun tag! 

when: #94 starts May 15 and ends June 12, 2025.

what: PROJECT #1 = Llama Llama Red Pajama ....NO!!! It's "Everyday Magic" encouragement card.

1. white cardstock folded card base (with envelope) from pack/set A2 size = Crafter's Square
