Winter or Spring Theme for no 158 at Scrapping 4 fun Challenge Blog

Since I've selected a winter digital image from prize sponsor Bugaboo to feature, it is obvious that I'm using the winter theme option! #158 is the next fortnight challenge for S4fC blog. My card utilizes a Christmas gift (blue snowflake computer stationery) and a trimmed down panel from a Hallmark Expressions (tm) notecard.

It's a cutie:

b. Use Your Stuff ends 1/18/2020; anything goes theme for the 1st challenge in 2020; encouraged use of some old stuff= the base card has been in my stash for over a year and the same for the lilac cardstock and the kraft paper that the digi image's paper is mounted to.

d. Mixed Media Creativity group in Facebook; mixed mediums used are white paint pen, silver glitter and gold glitter pens; markers, colored pencils; computer stationery; recycled THANKS card front; cardstock & base card

Isn't this digital image just the sweetest?!!?!!! I've used a white paint pen to outline the outside edge as well as highlight the centers of the snowflakes on the stationery paper, the penguins, the little snow piles, and add some tiny snow dots in the 'air'. A silver glitter paint pen was used on the highlight areas of the ornaments and for the snowflakes that were part of the image. A gold paint pen was used to accent some parts of the owl, the penguin's beak, the girl's bangs and freckles!

And I used the white paint pen to partially outline the 'thanks' cardstock section.
