Encouragement card for a young niece |
This is what started the very creative month for me:
Here's the collage photo for the selected kit for June 2020 at CKC=
These are a few of my paper and embellishment snapshots for the compilation I referred to as "Nature's Splendor in Petals and Wings" which is a nod to lots of flowers and butterflies I included in my kit.
These are my kit projects for the month:
This will be added to a chronological notebook binder and the flowers and bushes are from house #3 (as are the lilacs shown next). |
Above: an 8.5" x 11" layout for Challenge 1
Below: a TN size layout for the Forgeries on the Fourth using my copy-cat floral stenciled and embellished cardstock
Traveler's Notebook (slimline style) in a new TN featuring properties where we've lived in our 24+ years of marriage. We are on house #5!!! These lilac snapshots were from #3. |
LOTS of CARDS=
I love the roses washi tape paired up with the papers and accents! Another Christmas card for my growing stockpile! |
Above: the checkered paper added as a neutral to the kit was used for the Christmas card PLUS the pinkish cardstock circle that is the 2nd layer below the script/text cardstock is the 2nd or B side of the pinkish mauve cardstock seen in the next Christmas card
Below: the gem dots from both cards were part of the embellishments and the white with pink dot patterned paper scrap I think was in the bottom of the stacks but isn't showing in the pics I selected up above; and the pinkish mauve cardstock was mentioned for the above card
A sketch based Christmas card challenge for my December stash. |
Another Christmas card for a snowflake theme challenge and it will wait in my stash pile until December. |
Both of these cards have a dotted paper included in the stack.
Below: the cardstock scraps were leftover from other cards; the gold serrated edge circle and the reddish-purple circles along with gem dots, acrylic bits, and stars are from the massive amounts of embellishments
A slimline non-traditional Christmas card for my growing stash for this December. |
high school graduation congratulations card for a niece |
Above: the cream and floral cardstocks were already cut and applied to the honeycomb gold cardstock card base; the card was finished with a recycled strip of packaging, washi tape, foil butterflies and lots of crystal gems from the kit
Below: The Moroccan tile cardstock scrap, the large love print cardstock pieces, and the small text heart are papers included in the kit along with the the light pink and rose acrylic bits, puffy hearts-stars-and-hexagons.
Anniversary card for a nephew and his wife; I added a #4 to the small text print heart before I mailed. |
not finished on the inside yet; I'll either use for an upcoming birthday card or as an encouragement card |
Aoove: the dotted 'sand' paper was perfect to make a summertime theme card; the glitter flowers and 2 washi tapes that are layered with a micro thin laid on top of the wider dark green are from the kit; plus the gem dots used as flower centers
Below: Oh, my! This card has more of the Moroccan tile print and small text print cardstocks from the kit along with glitter flower, puffy stars-heart-and-hexagons, and glitter black laid on top of a glitter white decorative tapes, plus a gem dot as flower center all from the kit.

Encouragement card |
Wow! Lots and lots of variety in occasions, digital images, lettering, and some additional embellishments along with solid color cardstocks for either card or layout bases or for printing the digital images on.
And guess what????!!! There are still scraps and full sheets left as well as embellishments from this compiled kit however I did put a dent into the piles!!! And it was a lot of creative fun seeing how I could use everything for so many different situations.
