My HAOOCAYR #29 August 2025 design team projects

why: This posting shares a couple of design team project contributions to online artisan blogger friend Deanne's challenge blog HAOOCAYR or Halloween and other occasions crafts all year round. This is her 29th monthly challenge so she's almost had this challenge blog going for 2.5 years!!! She has 2 main monthly themes (Halloween and Birthday) and then offers usually 2 optional themes each month. August's options are family and/or romance. I'm choosing to do BIRTHDAY and optional theme of family/home-love. 

when: HAOOCAYR #29 starts August 1, 2025 and stays open all month. 

what: PROJECT #1: BIRTHDAY (one of 2 main monthly themes)

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. pink cardstock base 5" wide x 7" high = Recollections

2. floral print papers in 2 color ways = Palm Springs 6" square paper pad by My Mind's Eye 2018

3. "fun times", "hello sunshine" and "good vibes" stickers = "Just Chill" sticker book also my Mind's Eye but from 2020

4. flamingo die-cut and butterfly die-cut stick-ons = Little Birdie Handmade Embellishments (2 different packages)

5. brighter raspberry paper punched circle = Art Skills

6. enamel dots = Freckled Fawn

7. brown retractable marker pen = Zebra Clickart

how-to & vendor notes for #2: I took some photos to capture the gold foil better but haven't transferred from phone to computer yet. 

21. dog-ear topped chalkboard tag = from pack = Crafter's Square (came with a ivory cord tie which was removed)

22. 'love begins at home' + house + 3 hearts are rub-on transfers = Crafter's Square

23. gold ribbon tied into bow = not sure of vendor; probably bought at Dollar Tree or Dollar General or Wal-Mart

24. gold foil paper flower stickers = "Just Chill" sticker book by My Mind's Eye 2020

25. pink enamel heart = Fancy Pants Designs 2024
