My MTTCC #100 Red and Silver Theme Christmas Sweet Treats card on 22 Nov 2024

purpose: This post celebrates My Time To Craft Christmas Challenge Blog's #100 theme competition. It was my turn to suggest the topic and decided to have celebratory red and silver color combo Christmas/winter holiday cards. 

when: #100 starts November 22, 2024 and ends December 5, 2024. 

what: Red and Silver Christmas Sweet Treats card =

notes:

1. red cardstock slimline format = old Pen + Gear

2. gray cardstock = old Neenah

3. candy cane punched circle cardstock = Bella Blvd.

4. white painted wood (almost looks like birch) paper = Hot Off The Press

5. gingerbread note pad sheet = very old stash item

6. black ink pad = Hero Arts

7. peppermint candies stickers and silver snowflake stickers are from separate packages = Hallmark

8. clear iridescent gems= stash

9. foam dots support the gray panel for some dimension

Note: I own FQHSKCB and FQGGCB which are food content related challenge blogs. For FarmQuest HomeStyle Kitchen think of it as anything food goes or even as anything kitchen goes. Dinnerware, glassware, recipes, aprons, spatulas, measuring cups, candy, cookies, cocoa, etc. are welcomed there anytime. For FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenges think of it like a very popular Food Network cable TV show. There are 2 types of game challenges every 30-31 days with one based on store aisles of contents and the other based on alphabet foods such as H for honey, ham, hickory-smoked steak, hickory nuts, hazelnuts, etc. With the gingerbread cookie, candy canes, and peppermint swirl candies, if I didn't own FQHSKCB, I could link up. If FQGGCB was having C (candy canes) or G (gingerbread) or P (peppermints) alphabet letter foods, I could link up this card. OR if it was an odd aisle #7 which contains candy, nuts, and baking ingredients, I could share this card.

Loving my AA #88 DT anything goes choice of autumn cards on 15 Nov 2024

purpose: My posting showcases 2 autumn themed cards that are my co-owner/DT contributions for Ally's Angels #88. One card is full of die-cuts and chipboard stickers. The other has a round center focal that was inked and stamped. 

when: #88 anything goes theme starts November 15 and ends December 10, 2024

what: PROJECT #1 = Family -- thankful late autumn card

notes for #1:

1. darker orange cardstock base = Art Skills

2. coral leaf with kraft print paper strip and light green leaf with kraft print paper panel = SU

3. tonal green stripe paper panel plus dark floral print paper + 3 die-cuts + 3 chipboard stickers (2 spiders and 1 crow) = "Faboolous" collection by Simple Stories

4. 'family' and 'thankful' text stickers = "The Simple Life" by Simple Stories

5. black ink pad = Hero Arts

6. foam tape under the dark floral print paper and the brown textured panel = stash

7. dark brown textured specialty paper panel = stash scrap

26. alcohol markers = applied for 1st layer before stamping on the center focal = Arteza

27. colored pencils (apricot, pine green, orange) = used over the alcohol inks = stash

My MTTC #547 DT so thankful card on 15 November 2024

purpose: this posting showcases my latest Design Team contribution for the #547 challenge at My Time To Craft or MTTC. Another DT member suggested the topic of 'thank you' for this next fortnight time period. 

when: #547 starts November 15th and ends on the 28th. 

what: So Thankful for friends card

notes:

1. tan/kraft cardstock cut to 4.75" square = old Pen + Gear

2. loose feathers and leaves cardstock cut to 5" square = Recollections

3. plaid 6" paper square = SU (Sweater Weather; old set)

4. wood stamps 4 set (bunny, hedgehog, deer and fox) = Recollections (recent purchase and first time to use the set!!!)

5. 'so thankful' stamp = old; I think it's either Studio G or Hampton Arts

6. black ink pad = Hero Arts

7. for the animals = ink pads from SU (dapper denim for the bunny, Wild Wasabi for the hedgehog, artichoke for the deer, 

8. plant stamps (part of a mix set) = Crafter's Square
