why: MMMJP is code for my personal blog series since March 2025 titled My Mondrian Mondays Journal Page(s). Mondrian is Piet Mondrian, a famous Dutch artist, best known by school kids for his geometric block paintings. Typically he painted with a limited color palette. Many of mine have used lots of tones and even added neutrals of grays and browns to his white and black.

1. journaling notebook; 80 pages with peach tone graph/grid lines = bought at Dollar General store

2. lots of colored pencils, mechanical pencil, 2 types of Sharpies, some markers = stash items; most of the color-filling is with colored pencils

3. rectangles and two sizes of arches = are from homemade stencils

how-to & vendor notes for #1 =

1. white glitter CS base cut to 5" square from a 12" square sheet = 1 of 4 glitter CS in pack = Crafter's Square

2. red CS panel cut from a 12" square sheet = 1 of 4 solid color CS sheets in pack = Crafter's Square (and the sentiment scrap cut)

3. white chalk marker = Crafter's Square

4. 'wishes' traced/inked using a plastic stencil sheet = Crafter's Square

5. black fine point marker pen = Sharpie

6. a variety of colored pencils = stash box

7. white CS panel was cut from full sheet used in printer = Georgia Pacific

Don't Throwaway Scraps Thursday 4 December 2025

why: This post is showing a quick scraps & stash usage card made last night. Earlier this year I started a personal series called 'Don't Throwaway Scraps Thursdays'. This is #10.

1. bright blue CS scrap cut panel = Astrobrights/Neenah

2. Moroccan tile blue and white print paper scrap = old stash; forgot the vendor

3. irises note sheet = came from junk mail/organization solicitation for donations 'freebie'/ upcycled

4. faux wax seal embossed puffy sticker = from a mixed designs and colors pack = Crafter's Square (the black was applied with the Sharpie to help the word 'Love' be more visible then some scraping on the raised letters to remove most of the black marker)

5. pink and lavender glossy puffy dot stickers = from a mixed colors pack = Crafter's Square
