I've mixed 3 from my scrap pile (which is exciting!) for my design team inspirational card:
My best friend gave me a box of promise cards for women as part of my birthday gift! She knows I've started trying different methods of Bible art journaling and scrapbooking along with making cards. Wasn't that thoughtful!!! The bluish tones in the promise card I thought worked well with the aqua tone in the checked/plaid scrap it is laying on.

The bright mottled CS base (5" x 7") is part of partial sheet from designated papers I've been trying to use since mid-June. So is the black and kraft paper scrap.
The yellow and white checked squares were cut but not used for a big 7" square card I made last week. The autumn-toned checked CS has been used off and on this past year! It's a print that I have loved and hoarded and there is only a small 2" square of it left!!! :)
The kraft paper background piece is leftover (4.5" x 6.5") piece cut from a sheet started a week ago or so. And the layered floral sticker is the first one I've used off a sheet of different designs that I've had for about a year...I thought I would have used them before now but the combo of red-orange, orange, pink and yellow had thrown me off, but it seemed like the perfect occasion today to use 1 off the sticker sheet!!!!
Below pic: the yellow and white checkered squares were cut to be used on this Peter Pan card but the brighter yellow hue didn't look well with the base or the background CSs=
Below pic: this card was made a few weeks back & used a small section of the gorgeous autumn-toned checkered CS=
Below pic: these index cards off a ringed set are used like a miniature Traveler Notebook and has paper and CS scraps from the "bash a stash" since mid-June 'struggle'!!!=
Below pic: more "bash a stash" since mid-June scraps/sections were used for this cropped scanned photo and even the kraft paper that is a separate product not included in the 'stash' had a 6" square used behind the rainbow striped (triangle corner piece) and the flamingo print (another triangle corner piece) behind the focal coloring book page scene=
