January 2020 Week 2 for 52 CCT is color theme challenge

  • White
  • Yellow
  • Brown

Got all 3 of them! As a new design team member for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, I had a bit of extra notice about the color palette and my first thoughts kept going to candle light or lanterns. An internet clipart freebie search yielded this 3 branch candle-stand that I printed on to creamy yellow cardstock and then outlined in brown marker with yellow marker and/or yellow or brown colored pencil for some of the interior sections. Here's my mixed media inspiration card=

Challenge 52CCT 2-20 starts January 11, 2020. Since New Year's Day came mid-week, the 1st challenge week didn't start until January 4th. So make sure your preparing for the proper challenge prompt. My color challenge week Christmas card definitely has a rustic and vintage look to it. And is definitely a different vibe than my normal, but then I don't really have a normal predictable style. I'm willing to switch things around a lot which appeals to my attempts to stay creatively fresh.

Supply notes: background patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye; base card is from "Neutral Smooth A2 Cards and Envelopes"-50 count by Core'dinations and distributed by Darice, Inc.; burlap ribbon and yellow raffia 'ribbon' are from my supply stash
