Can't believe we are starting May this weekend! Yikes! At 52 CCT, each full week of the month we rotate the types of challenges. Week 1 is always a sketch for the card's layout/format. Tracy is the host and she's picked out a terrific diagram. Here is what I did:
My card is sort of like a merger of the 2 layout sketches. I went wide horizontal rectangle with my 5" deep x 7" wide card base. Instead of a full background piece of cardstock, I decided to divide into fourths, so it would appear like looking out a window.
If you want to do a rectangle shape instead of the square, the layout with a vertical orientation will look like this=

Card is sitting on top of my printer since I finished scanning it and the overhead lighting is just making this card sparkle and shine. So I took time to snap a pic=
The silver disk is the moon and there's silver center panes and like a row of lights that are the gems. I'm very happy with the results! What do you think? Leave me a comment at the end of the posting.

a. PPPDTC group on Facebook
b. Mixed Media Creativity group on Facebook = mediums used besides papers: gems, label, metallic dazzle sentiment, silver glitter disk, blue foam snowflakes, and border sticker...also silver glitter paint pen
c. Winter Wonderland; Your Favorite Color Combination theme starting 1 May 2020; a favorite combo for Christmas cards is to use wintery colors of blues and silvers/grays and whites, so that's what's featured on this card (and also many that I've already made this year!)
