APTS Challenge Blog August 2021 Theme is What is Your Style

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! Oh, my artsy-crafty heart got slightly overwhelmed for a short bit when I looked to see in our design team group blog what the August theme or option twist was going to be. Chana stated the theme as What's Your Style? (or genre). Some of the early birds in the DT squad have done CAS or Christmas or mixed media. So I started thinking mixed media too but then I also like to interpret sketch layouts and to mix patterns/prints. My August 2021 design team inspiration project will be a mix-up of printed patterns and some mixed media for a birthday card

*#8 for 2021; month of August; starts on the first Monday of the month which is 8/2/2021

Design and vendor notes=

a. the 2 sizes of journal cards and coordinating stickers are from Webster Pages' Spring Market collection

b. the red and white checked gingham cardstock is recycled packaging insert section

c. the harvest gold with white alpha tile stickers are from Freckled Fawn

d. the gray circle acrylic accents and the blue square acrylic accents, unknown origins due to being in my stash for many years

e. butterfly chipboard die-cut stick-on was part of sheet set bought at Dollar Tree

f. some brown inked edging was done on the 2 journaling cards and the red and white checked gingham that I put together as the focal collage for this birthday card

g. Most of the patterned papers and cardstock strips are old stash; the light yellow with white dots tiny section above the red and white checked gingham is a cardstock from My Mind's Eye
