Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!
why: The purpose of this personal blog posting is to showcase my owner/DT inspiration projects for Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges Blog or HQFCB. We're still using the old TFATU address and I'm hoping to give HQFCB it's own blog address in 2026. For now, we can be found through The Fairy And The Unicorn. During 2024 and 2025 we've been having a fantasy focus option each month with November's having 2 options: Yeti and/or Abominable Snowman. We want to help our readers and participants to work ahead and get ready for the holiday and winter season activities and/or New Year wishes. The main theme is always 'anything goes fantasy'. Not whimsical. The creatures, characters or accessories need to be connected to fantasy fiction books/movies, mythology and/or fairy tales.
I've chosen to have Project #1 as a little pumpkin shaped card showing a pumpkin house and gnome for AFG theme. He still has flowers blooming and has his watering can in his hands, ready to go!
For Project #2 I've chosen a Bigfoot clipart image for the November fantasy focus option.
when: #11 in 2025 starts on 1st Saturday or November 1, 2025 until Nov 30, 2025.
what: Project #1 = Pumpkin House & Gnome (to represent Anything Fantasy Goes)
how-to & vendor notes for #1 =
1. Fancy Pants Designs' Enchanted Garden collection: large plant patterned cardstock, gnome sticker and pumpkin house sticker
2. American Crafts' Farmstead Harvest collection: puffy flowers stickers and washi tape (used as sentiment)
3. unknown = pink and cream patterned cardstock; I've had this unmarked branding strip print cardstock since 2010 or 2011!!!
4. Lawn Fawn = Guava/pink-coral ink mini stamp pad for edging
5. Zebra Clickart = gray retractable marker pen for outlining everything
where #1 will be linked =
1A. As You See It Challenge; new on Oct 31; theme of Harvest (also see the badge); My first project is a pumpkin-shaped card with a pumpkin house, a gnome holding a watering can, and some harvest-color flowers

1B. Creative Fingers Challenge; new on Oct 31; theme of anything goes
link = https://creativefingerschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/challenge-311.html
1C. The Outlawz Festive Friday; open for a few more days; There are several themes, this project #1 fits 'autumn' the best; pumpkin-shaped card with a pumpkin house for the gnome, lots of autumn season colors; autumn-tone flowers
1D. Ellibelle's Garden Party; #8 is open until Nov 10; theme of anything found in or from the garden; My project #1 pumpkin-shaped card (pumpkins), flowers, the gnome is holding a watering can, other plants, mushrooms,....
link = https://www.simplyellibelle.com/2025/10/ellibelles-garden-party-no-8-anything.html
and
what: Project #2 = Bigfoot (for November's fantasy focus option)
21. green cardstock base cut to 5.5" wide x 5" deep = Pen + Gear
22. the light green and cream striped print paper = by Reminisce (Dots & Lines Six sheet 12" square; I've got a scrap cut piece leftover)
23. black permanent markers = Sharpie
24. Bigfoot clipart image; free for personal use = The Clipart Library website
25. light blue and light brown colored pencils = stash
26. lower case stencil template = a very old Tupperware product; either 1970s or 1980s!!!!
27. the layout was kept simple with embellishments because of the large image focal and stenciled sentiment
where #2 will be linked =
2A. Krafty Chicks; Oct 30 starts week 5/theme 5 of anything goes
link = https://kraftychickschallenge.blogspot.com/2025/10/krafty-chicks-challenge-792-anything.html
2B. Girlz Creative Fun Art of Scraps; new on Oct 25; use at least 1 designer paper; on my Bigfoot card there is 1 designer paper used from Reminisce
link = https://girlzcreativefunartofscrap.blogspot.com/2025/10/challenge-15.html
2C. Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges; new on Oct 22/week 2 of 2; anything goes
link = https://pennyschallenges.blogspot.com/2025/10/pennys-challenge-608.html
2D. The Paper Funday; closing on Nov 2; anything goes w/ opt cute or creepy; the Bigfoot/yeti creature is considered secretive because of favoring thick wooded areas and able to hide behind large trees that makes it sound scary/creepy

Hello, Claudia!!! I appreciate your time at my blog!
DeleteBecca, I adore these cards. That gnome and pumpkin cottage look ready to star in their own cosy autumn sitcom, and Bigfoot absolutely stole the show — he looks like he just popped out for a stroll and a snack and got caught in the spotlight. Pure whimsy, pure charm, and pure smiles from me. Love them both! 🍄✨
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy!!! I appreciate you being part of the Heart's Quest Fantasy design team!
DeleteSpooky Bigfoot! I wouldn't want to bump into him in the dark! Great cards Becca, Thanks for joining us at The Paper Funday Challenge, we hope you'll play again soon.
