My HCAYR #2 design team Crew Boo Trick or Treat card 1 Nov 2026

who: Hello and Have a Noteworthy November 2026!!! The year is disappearing and seems to be on a treadmill that is stuck on high speed! Good grief! I'm Becca S, a 60+ year old artsy-craftsy blogger who lives in Illinois with my hubby Joe (married almost 31 years!!) and our dog Mister Bennett (aka Mister B, Ben-Ben, Benny, Buddy). 

where: HCAYR is code for Halloween Crafts All Year 'Round, a crafting challenge blog owned by online friend Deanne. 

when: HCAYR #2 will be published on November 1, 2026 and will be active for the month of November. NOTE: I'm not posting this personal blog post until sometime on Nov 2nd. 

why: HCAYR challenge blog owner Deanne restarted this specialty niche crafting blog after a hiatus of 1-2 years. I had been on the DT before and still have some Halloween theme supplies in my craft studio so I quickly decided to help again. The digi images for this card however are brand new and available through a FB group. 

what: Crew Boo Trick or Treat card

how:

1. digital images are Halloween Extra Goodies = made by Janis Lewis @ Pause Dream Enjoy through her FB group Hello Happy Things (posted in the group in early Oct 2026) = NEW

2. brown marker outlining was added to each digital image to give the edges stronger definition = Jot (outlining done before fussy cutting)

3. pastel yellow cardstock is folded on the left side; dimensions are just over 5.25" x 6" = Colorbok pastel cardstock pad

4. Pumpkin Spice (orange) mini stamp pad = Lawn Fawn (used for perimeter inking)

5. orange paper = from multicolor pack = Colorbok

6. round enamel dots in pink and orange tones = Simple Stories

7. green star, yellow star = Freckled Fawn

8. teal mini heart and aqua mini heart = Fancy Pants Designs

9. mauve puffy heart and olive green puffy heart = Hello Hobby/Walmart

10. red dual-tip marker for the stitch marks = Jot 

11. inside on the same orange paper (cut into circle), I stenciled "Have fun on 2026 Halloween"
