terrific card with lots of layers and details
Just realized I hadn't posted the card I made for my wonderful mother for this year's special day. From start to finish it took almost 2 hours but part of that was due to some disorganization that slowed me down. Color-wise I knew my palette. My mom's favorite color is blue. Normally her mother's day and birthday cards have lots of blue but this time I decided to change. (My siblings' purchased cards were tones of pink, so I guess we were all thinking similar soft easy colors for her this year.)Here's my 2012 Mother's Day card:
Supplies and vendors:
1. Studio G= white ink pad, gray ink pad, brown w/ white dot ribbon, blue Queen Anne's Lace tape, 'you are the best' stamp
2. Jolee's= clear jewels
3. Colorbok= cardstock (pale pink, royal blue)
4. Paper Wishes website= free download of colored labels images
5. Elmer's Craft Glues= different adhesives
