Krafty Chicks GD inspiration project for #646 Week 2 of January 12-18 with Christmas theme

I'm so heart happy to share a 2nd Guest Designer inspiration project for 

Krafty Chicks challenge blog! (squeal!!)

Week 2 (January 12-18; new theme weeks start on Thursdays); #646; Christmas

[Christmas themed: tree light bulb with Santa hat; red, white, and green colors, holly leaves stamp, red pearl gems for berries, "MC" stamp]

Design product/vendor notes:

a. holly leaf stamp and "MC" stamp, I think, are Stampin' UP

b. lightbulb clip art image = ClipArt Library website; free; printed in black and white on red paper then colored in with white gel pen, green glitter paint pen and a gold glitter paint pen

c. green and white striped paper scrap 1/2 sheet = old; DCVW

d. the green 'forest' foliage print cardstock scrap 1/2 sheet = Fancy Pants Designs (Cottage Christmas)

THICC #131 DT inspiration for 10 January 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! This post's highlights my design team contribution for The Holly and The Ivy Christmas Challenges blog. THICC is how I shorten it has Anything Christmas Goes kind of themed challenges. The owner wanted to skip December 27 as a competition after the Dec. 13 (#130) ended so #131 is starting on Jan 10th.

I wanted to use the "All Is Calm, All Is Bright" lyric sentiment from the carol "Away In A Manger" and paired it with the panoramic Nativity manger scene 'tag' die-cut. Both are from Echo Park's Away In A Manger collection. More details after the card photo. 

A donkey at the birth and the donkey returned for Jesus' final week card =

Ally's Angels #66 DT card for 10 January 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! My heart's still jumpy and flummoxed over how quickly 2022 seemed to go by and the prospects of 2023! Ally's Angels Challenge Blog's #66 Anything Goes starts January 10th. I decided to do a Happy New Year card. 

I've found in the past 10 years or so, that sometimes I receive late Christmas cards from acquaintances or extended family members that I hadn't sent to and instead of creating a 'late' Christmas card, I'll make and send them something about winter wishes or for HNY. 

If you've followed my card-making in 2022, I did a free-form acrylic painting with 3 colors on white cardstock with some added gold glitter tempera paint that's been featured in several cards. Well, I've got another section of it (about 4.25" x 5.25") that I laid a varied star stencil over and added the same blue acrylic paint with a foam brush. Then I outlined each star with a small tip black marking pen. One foam blue and white snowflake for embellishment and gold lettering complete the card.
