My Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges #6 June 2026 or #53 consecutive AGF theme DT cards

where: These fantasy inspiration projects are for HQFCB or Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges Blog. 

when: #6/June 2026 or #53 consecutive session since I became owner of HQFCB; June 6-30, 2026. 

why: I'm owner and a design team member for HQFCB and for this session, I've taken time to prepare two different fantasy character/accessories cards. Project #1 has a fairy with a toadstool and Project #2 has a toadstool house with some gnomes. 

what: Project #1: Fairy resting on toadstool birthday card

how-to for #1: on front panel = "Today"; on inside panel = "best birthday blessings" 

1. Colorbok = kraft cardstock top-folded w dimensions 4.25" x 5.5" 

2. Front Porch paper pad/collection (2024) by Simple Stories = inside mini card, collage print strips to extended front and back (reverse is light blue plaid); red star print & 'today' strip/label ephemera/bits & pieces

3. Nicole Brand Crafts = gems (2 in gold/yellow and 2 in red)

4.  Polkadoodles = Serenity Resting (Fairy) digital image

5. stash box = mix of markers, alcohol markers and colored pencils for the digi image & outlining/edging papers/CS; I added in the sky and grass as well as fussy cutting and outline/border for arch shape to the image

1A. If You Give A Crafter A Cookie; new on June 1; in a garden, pretty soft pastels; I've put a light blue sky behind the fairy with lots of green grass; the fairy has a crown of flowers; toadstools/mushrooms can be found in gardens, especially if there are wet conditions, old logs, etc.

1C. Passion for Markers; new on June 2nd; theme: use markers + summertime; My project #1 fairy sitting on the toadstool has bold vibrant colors that I equate more with summer season rather than spring season: markers were used for the blue border, bold yellow-green grass near the base of the toadstool, the reds and beiges of the toadstool, the fairy's leggings and her parted dress pleated panel, her brown hair and the flowers and leaves of her crown

how-to for #2:

21. kraft cardstock top-folded base; dimensions are 5" wide x 5.5" deep = Colorbok

22. green paper panel cut to 4" x 5" = Colorbok (from rainbow color paper pack)

23. toadstool house digital image in black and white print = The Paper Shelter

24. some markers and mostly colored pencils used for the digital image = stash box; also a grass green colored pencil for outlining

25. three patterned papers punched with a 'ticket' shape = Woodland Friends paper pad by Pebbles (to give a woodland/forest look)

26. inside has a mini cut-a-part card with two gnomes w/ 'let's gather together' = also Woodland Friends paper pad by Pebbles (didn't scan/pic)

27. enamel dots w/ 2 in light green and 1 in yellow = from Everly Lane enamel dots package by Fancy Pants Designs

2A. Kleuren met Potloden; started back on May 10; theme is to use colored pencils; project #2 has a higher # of colored pencils and area of the image in usage of colored pencils compared to project #1; {marker for small brown toadstool caps and the door knob plus the lettering on the sentiment}

2B. The Paper Funday Challenge; new on Wed June 3; theme of anything goes w/ opt twist = polkadots and/or stripes; on project #2 the toadstool house image, on the fungi cap of the home there are spots/dots and I added 2 mid-green tone + 1 yellow tone enamel dots
