Well friends and family that read my blog posts, I do need to be challenged to "use my stuff"!
I just love the name of this blog challenge--Use Your Stuff!!! I scrimp and save little bits and hoard supplies but I also am always on the hunt for a good craft supply bargain too. With this challenge, I've used some glitter tape for borders on each side and then a different color to accent under each butterfly embellishment (mimic the circles shown on the sketch layout).
Page Maps' Card Maps May 2018 collection had several horizontal and vertical sketch suggestions and I decided to use a horizontal one as a vertical design. The butterfly stick-ons are used in place of the flowers and leaves shown on the diagram; horizontal tape rectangles instead of circles; and glitter tape borders instead of small scalloped edging.
HB= Happy Birthday
Can't have enough shiny objects on a birthday celebration card! Love the gold bling lettering stickers for HB, the gems for the butterfly bodies, and the peacock blue glitter tape.

If you are new to paper crafting and/or participating in challenges, it is pretty easy and mostly consistent from one blog to another; however find the section about rules and guidelines, especially about deadlines when to have a card photo on your blog linked to their post(s) in order to qualify for prize(s) and/or bragging rights.
Still crafting in the USA heartland, Becca S
