Crazy quilt...randomness...inspiration for card 3 to link up to Inspired By challenge blog
I decided to make a mini kit out of a few scraps plus some full sheets that hadn't cut into yet from my February 2019 CKC blog kit to make at least 2 birthday cards for March. Since the deadline for quilt challenge at Inspired By #61 (Laurel Seabrook Designs) ends later tonight, I'm going to make this a quick posting in order to get this extra 3rd card linked up!
Modern Quilt birthday card #3 design notes:
a. base & the 4 pattern paper 2.5" squares/quilt section papers are from 100 Pattern Papers Challenge starter kit I compiled for 2019 and along with some others were part of my February 2019 Counterfeit Kit Challenge copy-cat set that was further whittled down into a mini kit to make quilt-inspired birthday cards for March

This is the mini kit to help make some March birthday cards:
Modern Quilt is the 61st challenge prompt offered by the wonderfully creative Laurel Seabrook:
I just love the quirkiness of this card! Sort of like a crazy quilt! 4 different paper prints. 3 different border sticker patterns. Add in the hot pink pearl gems and the layered cake stick-on and this 4.25" x 5.5" card is full of colors, designs, and lines!
Mmmm cake. Thanks for playing once again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking time to comment on my submission to your IB blog! Glad I got these made. Lots of March birthdays yet this month--aunt, niece, sister-in-law....
