If you have followed my blog postings this month you should have seen 2 other layouts featuring Rowena, my maternal grandmother, with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. This layout shows the 8 'greats' posing and being silly.
Currently the oldest one in this group will be turning 29 soon and the youngest is now 14.
Rowena passed about 2 years after this gathering, so as these 'greats' get older, I'm hoping that they will be pleased that I took time to take photos of them then and taking time now to scrapbook.
Grandma Rowena liked pink. Even her wedding dress was a dusty mauve pink. Though she's not in these snapshots but was seen in the previous 2 LOs, I wanted to have lots of pinks to honor her.

My tweaks to this reduced size layout (8.5" x 11" not classic 12" square): journaling is on a separate section/pocket card; title is smaller; top border was added; flower embellishment that I subbed with the cuckoo clock pocket card occupies more space; plus more embellishments scattered around. I mounted the 2 photos and the journal pocket card in order to get a little more color and pattern onto the LO. I just had to have the cuckoo clock included on some layout involving my maternal grandparents because they had one in their home.
Link for CKC's March 2019 Challenge #1 to 'frame it up'= Frame 1 I'm counting as the teal frame that embellishes the cuckoo clock pocket card. Frame 2 is the black and white swirly edge die-cut that embellishes the journal pocket card. If you consider photo backing/mounting papers to be framing the pics, then I would have 3 more frames.

Most of the papers and embellishments were seen in mini kits #1, #2, and #3 that I made a few days ago. Look at these photos:
At the very top of the right side of the file folder (in the above photo), the sticker sheet of different roses that came with the My Mind's Eye Splendor small kit is seen. I used a yellow rose and a dark pinkish red rose for the layout. About half of the MME Splendor kit was used in my March 2019 CKC blog kit. And approx. 30% of the layout is MME Splendor: 2 rose stickers, rose border washi tape, the peach floral print washi tape, the cuckoo clock pocket card, the large floral CS section, & the Moroccan tile CS strip.
The journal card shown on the LO is the reverse side to the one in the bottom L of the above photo that has soft mint green striped bordering. The teal frame, cuckoo clock pocket card, the peach floral washi tape, the mint green and white print paper (used for photo backing), the dark blue/teal CS, a section of the pink and white zig-zag was also used for photo backing, and a small section of the very large floral CS was used near the bottom edge were all creatively arranged onto the pale pink CS base!
The few small strips with swans' CS used on the R side of LO is the reverse side for the blue and pink Moroccan tile patterned CS.
The rose border washi tape and a long strip divided into 3 sections was taken from that Moroccan tile CS to use for the LO.
