Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity Blog!
purpose: this posting shares my newest design team project for Ally's Angels Challenge Blog or AACB. After 2024 got started, I decided for the rest of the year, I would put to work unused or under-used stamps that I have. For July since many other competitions do a Christmas in July, I decided to go with a Dear Santa letter kind of idea for my DT card. AACB is always anything goes theme so I can have projects for different occasions depending on what I need for family or friends.
when: #84 anything goes theme competition starts July 15, 2024 and last for about 25 days or so (sorry for a few hours late in sharing; our power went out at midnight and came back on at 6:10am!!!!; lots of tree damage around time; had 2 tornadoes fairly close on 2 different sides of us; within 10 miles S/SW was the closest and then a few minutes later about 15-20 miles away a different one to the E/NE!!! Luckily we're okay with mostly tree branches and limbs down throughout the town of 1,400.)
what: Dear Santa From Rudolph Christmas card
notes:
1. Dear Santa stamp used on the green specialty paper, Rudolph/deer stamp used on the ivory paper and the 5 stickers = Busy Sidewalks stamp set and sticker book = Crate Paper/American Crafts
2. mint/sage green cardstock matting behind the sticker focal square = Neenah
3. cocoa brown ink pad = Lawn Fawn
4. black fine tip ink pen
5. specialty papers and ivory paper bought in a scraps package = Crafter's Square

DeleteWhat a wonderful and unique Christmas card, I like the idea of featuring Rudolph's wishlist. The handwriting in the background is not only a great way to create your own design paper, it also puts an emphasis on the wishlist-motif. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
