Christmas scene theme for MTTC blog fortnight challenge starting 29 Nov 2019

For a Christmas scene I decided to use some cute animal stickers and a Santa tag to arrange a warm and cozy homey setting as if the animals are waiting for Santa's arrival:

Friday, November 29, 2019 new challenge theme: Christmas scene

Scrapbook Layout about my mom from Christmas 2012

My sister shared this adorable snapshot that includes our mother posing so stylishly!!! As I continue getting some snapshots and framed photos gathered to display at her 80th birthday open house, I thought this pic would be great to show off.

The light blues and gray tones that I had in my compiled copy cat kit for CKC blog November 2019 have been working well, especially with this photo:

Sheer ribbon was added to the oversized corner CS that mutes some of the CS's colors but I also wanted it to pay homage to the fact that my mom was at my sister's for Christmas. They coordinated their reds, grays, and blacks to make this looked like a planned photo shoot! :)

From Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog:

and here's what I compiled together for my copy-cat November kit:

From the above photo of the kit, I used 2 stickers.

the soft buttery yellow and light gray cardstock mats are somewhere in the hodgepodge! :)

From the above photo, the border stickers that I used on each side of the photo matting are just barely seen . And from the below kit photo, you can see the floral CS:

I'll be sharing this layout on my personal profile page on Facebook and also with UYS.

UYS #384 {overall color mix in my layout reflects this mood board very well}

Scrapbook Layout about my mom from 2007

About the time my maternal grandmother turned 70, the extended family has tried to gather in late January to celebrate her birthday. This photo shows grandma with 1 of her brothers and her 4 surviving children taken at her last birthday gathering to celebrate #93!!! She lived until 23 days before #94...However I've scrapbooked this because next weekend my siblings and I will be hosting an open house to celebrate our mom's #80!!! Goodness, the years are going quickly.

My mom's favorite color is blue, so my compiled November kit for CKC blog has worked out well for focusing on old snapshots that include my mom.

tried to focus on blue-gray, gray, yellow/beige

and here's what I compiled together for my copy-cat November kit:

From the above photo of the kit, I used 2 butterflies similar to those shown...

And from the below kit photo, you can see the blue cardstock base and the blueish gray patterned cardstock coordinating prints:

Next are some cropped scanned close-ups of the layout to see the details:

Christmas Animals theme for MTTC blog DT project

My Time to Craft challenge blog has a holiday theme prompt for the next fortnight--Christmas animals for #410! I decided to combine some in-action-looking reindeer stickers from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) that I got on clearance for 20 cents last January with a new stencil purchase of the airplane and Earth.

My idea for the little scene was to have it look like Christmas Eve or early Christmas morning with Santa's reindeer and a commercial airliner sharing the sky=
