Loving My AA #95 design team Anything Goes theme card on 15 June 2025

why: This posting shares my owner/DT commitment with Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog. I was a co-owner/DT of AA for just over a year and then the other co-owner offered to me the opportunity to be full owner which happened about 6 months ago. I'm always awed by the creativity of the other team members!

when: #95 Anything Goes theme starts June 15 and ends July 12, 2025

what:

how-to notes: the smooshed paint paper layer is one of four made on May 11-12, 2025; four acrylic paints were squirted out randomly in different amounts and locations; then a 'top layer' placed to press/smoosh/spread the paint plus when 'peeling' off that top layer, it pulled on the excess paint to give those vertical lines/ridges!

purpose: This posting showcases my December contribution for Ally's Angels (challenge blog). The theme is always anything goes. 

when: #89 starts December 15, 2024 and ends on January 10, 2025. (I will become full owner officially on Jan 1st. Currently I'm an emergency co-owner/DT member.)

what: Have yourself a merry artsy-craftsy Christmas!

notes: main inspiration elements are: Christmas, green, button, digital image and free (bits of red and blue; washi tape)

1. green cardstock 5.25" x 4.25" base = old Pen + Gear 

2. lighter sage/minty green cardstock = Neenah (with foam dimensional tape underneath)

3. white cardstock scrap for tree shape accent base = Neenah

4. washi tapes are from various vendors used on tree = stash

5. light green button = stash

6. 'merry' alpha stickers = Jillibean Soup

7. digital paper of blue jays and cardinals with pines in grid print (missing 1 column) sized to 4" x 6" before cutting = freebie through sign-up within FB group by Sande W (Sande's Poema Cardmaking Community)

8. black inking on all perimeters = Hero Arts ink pad

MTTCC #69 Joy To The World carol theme DT inspiration card for 15 September 2023

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! My heart is happy to take time to craft these Christmas cards based on the church caroling hymn "Joy To The World". I was the one on the design team to suggest this theme and thought it would present lots of artsy opportunities for crafters. But then even I got a bit stuck however a stash quest into my Christmas, journaling and farm country boxes resulted in these crafty mergers!

Ally's Angels #74 Anything Goes Theme starting 10 September 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! My heart's excited about using another section from the 2 sheets of  identical overlays from "Hello World" by Allison Kreft Designs from Webster Pages!! These acrylic sheet with cut-apart sections/panels have been stored in my stash for over 3 years!!!

1. "Happy Little Moments" acrylic panel cut from "Hello World" 12" square sheet; Allison Kreft Designs from Webster Pages; a black permanent marker used on the upper white scalloped border so that is would show

Paper Craft Crew challenges; current; vertical sketch; MY card's stacked sentiment on the overlay "Happy Little Moments" has "love" printed on the cut-apart card underneath that if off-set and gives a staggered look like the sketch; also the gems duplicate the top right circles and the butterfly's location is different than the bottom left circles but it does give an accent near the bottom of the sketch/card

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! I still like to get Christmas cards mailed even though the number varies on what gets out. I'm sure that happens for many of my fellow artisan friends too. I even sent a few Christmas cards out in July for something fun to surprise a few distant family members! Ally's Angels #71 Anything Goes theme DT card for 10 June 2023

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! Today's post is a heart happy dance for using a mix of old stash with some newer stash items to create this card.

WHAT: Ally's Angels #71 Anything Goes theme

WHEN: a month-long competition starting June 10th

SHOW and TELL: "Happy Little Moments" with swans and a dragonfly card

1. Happy Little Moments overlay is by Allison Kreft Designs/Webster Pages (this sheet from "Hello, World" has been in my stash box for several years; this is the first cut section used)

2. swan cardstock is by My Mind's Eye

3. orange marbled paper, pink cardstock = stash items

4. wood laser cut dragonfly = from a mixed set of insects bought at Dollar Tree; a layer of gold glitter acrylic paint; top layer of blue glitter paint pen

5. swan cardstock was altered on their 'white' wings with an orange colored pencil

1. another stash buster and mix of old and new plus some recycling!

2. old stash items: lilac cardstock 5"x6"; dark red wine purple strip; white cardstock panel

3. recycling: gray and white geometric print (tissues box panel)

4. gifted=layered bee sticker, extra sent from a junk journaling swap

5. gifted from a generous artisan friend= Memento ink pads (cantalope, dandelion, lilac posie, tuxedo black, rich cocoa); 4 stamps= posy with leaves, honeycomb/hexagons, hive with a few tiny bees, and the sentiment (I added an 'e' to change be/verb to bee/noun)

6. Freckled Fawn= (newer purchased item) 2 layered sticker labels on the right side

1. stash busting card with a mix of old and new; old stash items = navy blue cardstock base 4"x6"; gray-blue with white snowflake print, snowflake sticker; colored pencils (orange, green, aqua blue, pink); black detail tip marker (stamped sticks) and a blue fine tip marker (stamped snowflake dots)

2. new to me items= star embossed decorative tape, snowman with bunny friend stamp (Stampin' Up 1997), Memento aqua blue ink pad to make curved lines, Stampin' Up Avocado ink pad for the image [these items were all gifted to me from a fabulous artisan friend]
