who: Hello, I'm Becca S and this is one of two personal crafting blogs I have to share all my inspirational projects for the 13 challenge blogs I own!

when: AA #109 starts August 15 and ends on September 12, 2026. 

why: Ally's Angels has had 2 previous owners/co-owner. I was a 'silent' co-owner for AA before becoming sole owner. Ally's Angels has been an important anything goes challenge in the crafting-blog world. With the offset start date at mid-month, having this anything goes theme available at the end of the month is extremely important for busy artisans. 

what: G is for Globe-- Hey, friend! In this huge world, I'm very thankful that our paths crossed and we've been friends for years!

who: Hello! I'm Becca S, an craft artisan blogger, who caught the paper-crafting blog bug back in 2010. I started gradually as a participant and then within a few months I became a design team member. Then I started getting involved with 3-5 teams for many years. When COVID hit, many blog owners were stepping down and I took over the management for 2 teams which gave me the confidence to start my own. Ally's Angels was a path of DT to co-owner/DT and then owner/DT. It's easy to participate at Ally's Angels due to the theme of 'anything goes'. You can submit any occasion, use any colors or topics or manufacturers' products or tools.

why: As mentioned earlier, I own AA and the theme is anything goes. This time I decided to do a layout that I refer to as fractured tiles. It's a X-pattern with opposite pieces matching with 2 printed papers.

My Ally's Angels #105 design team card with anything goes theme for 15 April 2026

why: This posting continues my long-term design team and owner commitment with Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog. The theme has always been 'anything goes'. I've been sole owner for over a year and was (silent) co-owner for a couple of years prior. Lots of crafters love to participate because it's the easiest type of theme. For a couple of years now the majority of my cards' focals involve stamping and/or inking. Occasionally I might do stenciling or pull elements from a collection to make an easy put-together card. This time I've used four clear stamps from the same set and have done a bit of colored pencil fill-in or outlining while the 2nd card is using a mix of recycled with more recent purchases like the ribbon, rhinestone hearts, and ephemera.

why: This posting showcases my newest design team (DT) inspiration project for Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog. The theme is always anything goes. For quite awhile for my AA design projects I've used old neglected stamps, maybe a few newer stamps and/or inked focal area or backgrounds. I'm going to continue this into 2026. New to me, first usages, for the plants/leaves & flowers frame stamp & the 'thinking of you' stamp from Bo Bunny are used for #101's focal!

why: This posting showcases the newest owner/DT contribution to AA or Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog! #97 continues with our theme of anything goes. My choice this time was to go back to inking my card background and then arranging paper pieces and die-cut ephemera into a pleasing layout.

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. ivory A2 size card base; fold on left side = from pack = Crafter's Square

3. two partial 6" square sheets used with reversible prints = SU; the yellow geometric is the reverse side of the plaid/tweed print; then the florals are reverse sides for each other

why: this posting showcases my newest design team member contribution project to Paper-Rocks-Scissors owned by online artisan blogger friend Deanne. She started PRS in February 2025 and the main theme is anything goes using paper and/or scissors. I've used 4 papers and 1 cardstock/base plus scissors were used to cut the palm tree paper, flamingo paper and flourishes paper. A circle punch was used for the gold foil paper. Scissors were also used for the dual-sided tape adhesive strips but that's all on the bottom sides and isn't showing (thank goodness!). 

when: challenge month #7 starts August 2, 2025 and stays open all month. 

what: PROJECT #1 = thinking of you card

how-to & vendor notes for #1: NOTE = base cardstock is neon deep orange but printer scanner faded it to a butternut squash tone. 

1. six inch square cardstock base = Art Skills

2. gold foil paper punched circle = paper from a multi-color foil paper pack = Art Skills

3. palm tree gold foil print paper and the flamingo gold foil print paper = Palm Springs 6" square paper pad by My Mind's Eye 2018

4. gold foil palm leaf sticker + 'life is good' stripe sticker = "Just Chill" sticker book also by My Mind's Eye 2020

5. gold foil dazzle "Just Because" sticker = Hot Off the Press

6. enamel hearts are from the same color pack of yellows & oranges = Freckled Fawn

why: This posting shares my owner/DT commitment with Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog. I was a co-owner/DT of AA for just over a year and then the other co-owner offered to me the opportunity to be full owner which happened about 6 months ago. I'm always awed by the creativity of the other team members!

how-to notes: the smooshed paint paper layer is one of four made on May 11-12, 2025; four acrylic paints were squirted out randomly in different amounts and locations; then a 'top layer' placed to press/smoosh/spread the paint plus when 'peeling' off that top layer, it pulled on the excess paint to give those vertical lines/ridges!
