1. base is about 6" high x 5.5" wide, maybe for the width = Neenah

My MTTC #543 Spring Season Theme DT card on 20 Sept 2024

purpose: This posting features my newest contribution as manager/DT member of My Time To Craft challenge blog. We have a worldwide design team and one of the members is from Australia. Since the Southern Hemisphere has opposite seasons to the Northern Hemisphere, she's now coming out of winter season into spring. It was her turn to suggest the theme and it's spring season for #543. 

when: #543 starts September 20, 2024 and lasts 13 days only.

what: I've Got That Feeling of Spring in my Heart!

notes:

1. yellow cardstock panel cut to 5"x7" = Pen + Gear

2. purple cardstock strip is 1.5" wide x 6.5" high = Neenah

3. white cardstock focal panel is about 4" wide x 5-5.5" high = Neenah

4. ink outlining using a Aqua Blue alcohol marker = Arteza

5. cursive handwriting lettering using a Pea Green alcohol marker = Arteza

6. ink pads using cotton balls for filling the stencil butterfly/wing openings (Tangerine, Lemon Lime Twist, Wisteria, Sugarplum, Turquoise...don't recall its color name) = SU

7. black super fine tip pen = Art Skills (for all the tiny dots to outline the butterflies or wings)

8. stencil sheet = Crafter's Square

purpose: This posting showcases my love of creativity in all aspects, real or make-believe! It's hard to believe that I've owned HQFCB (the old TFATU) almost 2 years!!! Yes. November 11th. Competition #9 started September 7th and the theme is always anything goes fantasy! The September fantasy focus option is Pegasus. 

when: HQFCB #9.5 is the midway post published on September 20, 2024; deadline is September 30. 

what: PROJECT #1 = mix of fantasy creatures

notes: #1

1. base floral paper 6" square = SU

2. beige/tan cardstock and the neon orange (scanned butternut squash) cardstock = Pen + Gear

3. image (minus the handwritten cursive sentiment) was created using AI; how cool is that??!!!!!!!!!; I entered into the generator 'fantasy creatures gathered around an acorn house' and this is 1 of 4 images that were created. I had to edit for the brightness and contrast. 

4. black fine tip gel pen = Art Skills

5. black ink pad = Hero Arts

6. Red alcohol marker = Arteza

11. blue cardstock and purple cardstock = Neenah

12. image was AI digitally-created then saved then sized before printing to an almost 4" square on white paper; bright pink sticky notes are hidden underneath to help with some of the whitish part of the clouds and wings

14. white paint pen and silver metallic paint pen = Art Skills

purpose: This posting is about Sweet Dreams and Best Wishes of imagination and fantasy. Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges blog is the new name for the former "TFATU" or The Fairy and The Unicorn. The theme is anything goes fantasy with the September fantasy focus option of Pegasus! YES! We are showcasing the make-believe winged horse...remember, NOT a unicorn...the mythical winged horse called Pegasus. 

when: #9 September 2024 started Saturday September 7th and will end on the last day of the month. HQFCB starts each monthly competition on the 1st Saturday.

notes:

1. left-folded white card for the base

My Christmas or Not Bingo #9 Challenge DT Project using Column G for 1 Sept 2024

{I want to finish this post but will launch it today September 1st. However, here's why: my mom just died yesterday Aug 31st at 10:45am. It was sudden, over the course of 16 hours.}

purpose: this posting showcases my newest DT contribution for Christmas or Not Bingo Challenges blog. We started out as Christmas only topics using the Bingo board but co-owner/manager Leslie expanded it to give players the option to use other occasions

when: #9 starts September 1-October 15, 2024; must use the BINGO board and only use 1 vertical column; mine is "G"

what: PROJECT #1 = Peace and Joy at Christmas

notes: info will be shared starting with the requirements of the "G" column

1. green =

a. base cardstock = Neenah

b. green and black patterned paper is a security lined paper panel recycled from health insurance report (YES!) that I inked with a permanent green dual-tip marker = Art Skills

c. lime green in an index card blank side covered in Pea Green alcohol marker ink application = Arteza

d. green acrylic paint = Crafter's Square

e. Peace & Joy foam sticker = from the collection Simple Vintage Christmas Lodge by Simple Stories

2. free =

a. accent colors

b. brown rimmed with silver foil metallic dots = bought on Paper Wishes website

c. washi tape = sorry I don't remember the vendor; been in my stash supply of holiday tapes for too long!

d. base cardstock was ink edged with a brown ink pad = Lawn Fawn

3. splatters =

a. applied with an old soft toothbrush using green acrylic paint mentioned in the 1st section

4. frame =

a. layers provided framing

b. washi tape strips were applied for a top layer framing for the center area

5. pearls =

a. red pearl gems were placed at each set of holly leaves in the repeating patterning of the washi tape

what: PROJECT #2 = this was my first attempt but wasn't happy with it = using G column = green, free, splatters, frame, & pearls

notes:

11. green = chartreuse, green and white buffalo plaid cardstock (The Paper Studio for cardstock)

12. free = text stickers (from The Simple Life sticker book by Simple Stories); red, kraft, 

13. splatters = brown acrylic paint that was applied to a soft bristle toothbrush and then flicked all over the green and white buffalo plaid cardstock panel; also used to stencil the diamond border line; also used for the first stenciled-layer of 'family' but too much leaked through

14. frames = chartreuse plastic frame (Ki Memories; oldie); also created a Christmas items print washi tape frame on top of the plastic frame (vendor = ?)

15. pearl = two aqua blue pearls are located on each side of 'family'

16. other supplies: red and white buffalo plaid cardstock about an inch wider than the green = The Paper Studio

17. kraft cardstock base panel is 5" x 7" = Colorbok

18. reddish-brown marker was used to edge the perimeter for the kraft cardstock = stash item

My September 2024 Halloween And Other Occasions #17 DT Projects

purpose: This posting showcases my DT inspiration projects for the September 1 main release of Halloween And Other Occasions Crafts All Year Round challenge blog. (HAOOCAYR)

when: #17 is for the whole month of September 2024

what: Project #1 = Halloween, a main theme

notes:

1. kraft cardstock base is approx. 5.5" x 4.25" plus scrap strip = Colorbok

2. puffy stars and dots = Freckled Fawn

3. peach cardstock panel = Neenah

4. 'hello' cardstock label cut from a 12" square sheet of harvest/Halloween images = Crafter's Square

5. image paper was made as a Google Doc; then dotted with highlighter markers, black hand-drawn stars added and finally colored with a reddish-orange colored pencil over the whole area

6. Lobster Red ink pad = Lawn Fawn

7. on the kraft strip, small tip black gel pen for 1st layer and then Pea Green and Red alcohol markers from Arteza did the outlining/highlighting
