My Heart's Quest Pretty in Pink preview E post on 11 Sept 2026

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity!, a personal crafting blog!

who: Hello, I'm Becca S, an artsy-craftsy blogger who loves a 'more is more' approach to her cards and tags!!! CAS style seems to be so constraining! Ack! I also love to merge old stash items with newer purchases to create unique projects. If I'm on a time constraint using a vendor's collection does help shorten the process from start to finish.

where: this owner/DT inspiration sample is for the new HQPIP or HQPIPC preview post E; go to the bottom of the post for the direct blog post link.

when: Friday, September 11, 2026. This will be the last planned preview post before the 1st challenge session begins on the 15th.

why: HQPIPC was started as a result of another blogger closing her 'AG mainly pink' abruptly. I thought that was a tragedy and am hopeful that interest in this specialty niche challenge blog can be revived. Part of that interest renewal is doing preview posts and posting to a couple of FB groups plus doing my own personal blog posts' link-ups to 5-6 other challenges to start getting attention that 'there's a new kid on the block'!!!

what: preview E post AGMP theme project (anything goes mostly pink) = this is a remake/edited with add-ons to give it a more finished look

here is the before project (focal panel with the heart enamel dots; no folded card base; the fork and spoon stick-ons were straight instead of angled); this was used for my DT member project in April 2026 at Pin-spirational for the pale pink and pale blue theme challenge =

how-to &/or vendor product details:

1. pink cardstock base, top-folded, A2 size = Colorbok pastel cardstock pad

2. white cardstock packaging recycled for the focal panel

3. pink linen ribbon = Crafter's Square

4. pink with threads specialty paper = old scrap stash; purchased in part of a large paper scrap cuts package from Crafter's Square

5. puffy tea cup + fork and spoon specialty stickers = Crafter's Square (part of the pack)

6. enamel hearts in 3 pink tones = Fancy Pants Designs

7. three blue shades/tones of alcohol markers = Arteza

8. inside: bold pink paper scrap has letter traced words 'take care'

LINK-UPs:

1A. Love To Scrap Challenges; new on Sept 1; anything goes; My card used a pink scrap and recycled white packaging for the focal panel of this get well card.

My Creations in Pink design team #92 card for 15 April 2026

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: This posting shares my 2nd design team project for Creations in Pink, a crafting challenge blog owned by Marlene A. The theme is anything goes mainly in pink. I'm trying to avoid buying more stuff right now and focusing on using stash--my treasures-- treasure hunting through some supplies on my table came up with this pretty unique card.

when: #92 starts April 15, 2026 and lasts to about May 12th.

what: Project #1 = "Together"

and a closeup scan to try to see the alcohol ink better; but I think the scanner light just faded it more; it's actually more like a neon pink in person

link = https://stencilfun.blogspot.com/2026/04/april-2026-stencil-fun-challenge.html

1C. The Sisterhood of Crafters; new on April 8th; theme of "Make Someone Smile"; My card is pretty. It's soft pastel pink and blush tones are delicate.

1D. Word Art Wednesday; opens every other Wednesday= new April 15th; anything goes theme; family friendly; MY card is very feminine. It's pretty and looks delicate/fragile.
