PURPOSE: to showcase my design team commitment project for My Time To Craft challenge blog

WHEN: #520 starts November 3-16, 2023

WHAT: #520 theme is Fun Folds; I have a tri-fold that can be folded several ways

1. the majority of the items are from "Simple Life" collection from Simple Stories

4. green Arteza Everblend Art Marker; and goldfish orange color for outlining

5. a neon yellow green glitter paint pen applied to the 'e' in beautiful and in life plus the 2 butterfly die-cuts = stash item

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! This card was made from a box of stash items that I haven't accessed for several months. It was like a breath of fresh air to delve into the box and see what would work for MTTC's #517.

WHAT: My Time To Craft challenge blog's #517 theme is to use 2 or more patterned/print papers (or cardstocks).

MTTC #514 Stenciling Theme DT project for 11 August 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!! My heart's so happy with the results of this heart-themed card! YEA! A several years old varied hearts stencil sheet has been traced onto kraft paper. And the cardstock print base is one I've been hoarding in my stash since about 2010!!!

WHAT: My Time To Craft challenge blog's #514 stenciling theme

WHEN: August 11-24, 2023

SHOW and TELL:

1. print cardstock base is a very old hoarded stash item since approx. 2010!!! I don't remember the vendor.

2. varied heart stencil sheet = Dollar Tree

3. stencil sheet laid on a kraft paper section; with about 6 marker colors applied and then outlined with black permanent marker; marker colors chosen that were similar to the printed cardstock's colors

4. text box sentiment was one of many different expressions typed on a Google document that was printed on kraft paper; I applied yellow colored pencil on top to offer contrast from the stenciled kraft paper underneath it;

MTTC #513 Shades of Blue DT card for 28 July 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! Today's heart happy posting is sharing my DT inspiration card for MTTC, My Time to Craft challenge blog.

WHAT: #513 theme is shades of blue (monochromatic blue tones/shades; neutrals and metallics allowed but keep them minimal)

WHEN: July 28-August 10, 2023

SHOW and TELL: birthday candles card

1. base is the light-medium blue; cut to approx. 5.5" high x 4" wide

2. white cardstock is about the same size

3. navy blue cardstock is the same size as an index card

4. light blue with little white stars cardstock is about 4"square

5. stenciling; was part of a circular stencil bought at Dollar Tree; traced with pencil first and then after stamping, I used a medium blue marker for contrast

6. "HB" stamp is a very old Stampin' Up product; one of my favorites that I use a lot

MTTCC #65 Cute Christmas Theme DT card for 21 July 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! If you've visited my blog before, you know that I love creating Christmas cards! Christmas is a bittersweet day for me for a couple of reasons in the past 14+ years. I love Christmas because we recognize it as Jesus' birth. However 14 1/2 years ago, my dad died at 10:06pm Christmas Day. Then recently a younger first cousin Dan who was born on Christmas Day in 1966 was found dead on May 1. We just had a celebration of his life on June 24. Family gatherings as a young child were a bit confusing for a few years when Dan would receive more presents than everyone else. Besides his parents, my aunt and her husband would give them double gifts, so would our grandmother, my parents, our other uncle, and our/my other aunt. Ok. Enough reminiscing.
