My ConBC #15 Column B and G Themes DT cards for 1 September 2025

why: this is the latest DT commitment project for ConBC or Christmas or not Bingo Challenges. The bingo board columns Bb and Gg was used to create these cards. The Christmas card had been made for awhile but the white on white slimline card was a last minute decision. We've got 1 DT member on vacation and 2 columns hadn't been used by the members, so I thought I'd tackle one of those missing represented columns...column B

when: ConBC #15 starts on September 1, 2025 and ends on October 15th. 

what: Project #1 = All white Christmas mini slimline card

and a 2nd scan trying to put more pressure but I think the results look almost the same:

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. white cardstock is recycled packaging

2. satin sheen paper = CutCardStock

3. white/diamond cut glitter with thin gold metallic edging "MC" dazzles/ stickers = Hot Off The Press

4. white glitter foam snowflake sticker = from pack = Crafter's Square

5. netting can in circles = from pack = Crafter's Square

6. string = old stash item

how Column B was used:

*  mini slimline = base is 5.5" long and about 3" deep

*white on white = monochrome with cardstock, satin sheen paper, white/diamond cut glitter sentiment and white glitter foam snowflake + off-whites/old stash items = netting and string

* free = gold metallic edging on the sentiment

* netting or tulle = started as a circle, cinched in the middle and tied with string then trimmed short on each side in order to fit the mini slimline

* textured details = dimensional foam tape to life the 4.5" or less deckle-edge white cardstock layer, satin sheen paper, netting, string, distressed edges on base, snowflake and the raised gold edging on the sentiment words

Column G: ConBC requires using 3 or more elements in a vertical column

* Christmas = yes (pine trees, snowflakes, sentiments/text seen in focal mini card and the horizontal strip)

* kraft = yes (light brown tones in focal, striped paper, and two enamel dots &  a little bit of kraft paper peeking out at the top and bottom edges

* free = yes (stripes print paper, floral print paper, embellishments...)

* wood/woodgrain = yes, some (stems of leafy branches, trunks of the pine trees)
* hand-colored image = no

why: This is a non-DT contribution. I wanted to participate in some Christmas challenges before August ends. CCAYR's required song prompt for "O Holy Night" led me to look through my Christmas supplies and I decided to repurpose a box card image altering it into an arch shape.

1. kraft paper for base = unmarked plastic sleeve packaging; don't remember where I got it...maybe an old Amazon order two years ago...???

3. Nativity scene card front panel; did some measuring to trim sides and the bottom margin; around the top, the sentiment/song lyric was already in a semi-circle format so that's what led me to make it an arch-topped focal. = box card sold by Dollar General Stores

1. Santa postcard's image was even vintage when it was printed! The original lithograph was from the early 1900s; then in 1990 is was reprinted and others in a set of Christmas postcards published by Dover Publications =

Thanks to L & S at JB for literally saving me to have something Christmas vintage to do this MTTCC theme #116!!! Sometime in 2024, or maybe as far back as 2023, I was blessed to receive a prize package filled with vintage Christmas pages, caroling sheets, and ephemera!

I've decided to bring out a neglected garage-stored plastic container with eight different brad packages!!! [two weeks ago, DT member Alyson suggested ribbon to be the supply item.]

purpose: Hello, 2025!!! Happy New Year's Day!!! I've got exciting news to announce on this day as well. I'm now full owner of ConBC (Christmas or Not Bingo Challenges). Since the inception by artisan friend Leslie, I've been her emergency back-up co-owner + DT member. And she asked me recently if I'd like to be full owner. I jumped at the chance to keep this going. why/purpose: this posting is for my newest DT project at #102 My Time To Craft Christmas challenge blog with its theme of sweet treats. The topic was suggested by another DT member Miss Mudge (aka Nikki). It can be sweet treats for Christmas, New Years or another winter holiday. Examples can be baked good like pies, cakes, cookies, doughnuts, strudel, etc. They can be beverages like eggnog, milkshakes, mochas/lattes/smoothies, etc. Also included are candies like candy canes, mints, candy bars, ribbon candy, 'rock' candy, candied orange or lemon peels, etc.

purpose: The reason for this post is to showcase my latest contribution to My Time To Craft Christmas challenge blog (MTTCC) #99 elves theme.

what: Little Elf Playing on Santa's Ornaments Christmas card

notes:

1. base paper with gold metallic foiling = SU (6" square)

2. red and white buffalo plaid paper = The Paper Studio (5" square)

3. elf and ornament scene = Ai-generated Microsoft Designer digital image with some added coloring (edging, ornament strings, elf's face features and gloves, snowflake lines on the large dark red ornament) = (4" square)

4. gold plastic stars and gold glitter foam star stickers = Recollections

purpose: This posting focuses on my latest manager/DT contributions for My Time to Craft Christmas or MTTCC. I've held this role for over 2 1/2 years! Every other Friday without any breaks! 

when: #93 starts August 16 and ends on the 29th. 

what: Project #1 (but 2nd make giving a different wreath sticker better scale to be more main focus) Merry Wreath-mas or Merry Wreath-Christ
