ConBC #16 picked 2 bingo columns DT projects on 1 Nov 2025

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: The purpose of this posting is to share my next owner/DT inspiration projects for Christmas or not Bingo Challenges. #16 bingo board has wonderful variety from column to column. It was hard to select just 1 (since the rest of the team is always so ultra fabulous)!!! And the other DT members and Guest DTs focused on using I, N and O so I didn't want to leave out columns B or G and created one for each of those.

when: ConBC #16 starts November 1 and ends on December 15, 2025 (then we take a 2 week break between challenges and will return on January 1, 2026)

what: Project #1 = Column B (appreciation, yellow & gold, free, weave)

how-to & vendor notes for #1 using Column B=

1. Thanksgiving/Appreciation = "so very thankful" vellum from Farmstead Harvest by American Crafts

2. yellow & gold = two little yellow enamel hearts by Fancy Pants Designs; harvest gold tones in the flowers and dotted print paper by Simple Stories from an old card kit; also metallic gold decorative tapes (unsure on the vendor; it's been in my stash for several years)

3. free = the different products like enamels, vellum, die-cut ephemera, etc.

4. weave = strips of the gold metallic decorative tape were applied in a partial weave overlapping/some over and some under sections; (again, I'm unsure of the vendor since it's been removed from packaging and been in my washi tape collection in stash for years)

5. did not use textured paste! = I would like to try this. Haven't yet but would sometime.

a. brown marker pen for outlining around yellow cardstock = Zebra Clickart

b. yellow cardstock panel = Pen + Gear

c. kraft cardstock base panel = Colorbok

where #1 will be linked =

1A. Ellibelle's Garden Party; still open into early Nov.; theme of anything in or from the garden; My appreciation card has harvest tone large flowers (die-cut ephemera)

---------------------------------------

and

what: Project #2 = column G (New Year, metallics, free, sentiment focus)

how-to & vendor notes for #2 =

21. New Year = 2026 is included in the sentiment; also the sentiment choice is motivational which lends to creating goals/resolutions

22. metallics = embossed puffy pieces are stickers from 2 different sets = Crafter's Square

23. free = brown geometric print paper is 1/4 of 12" square sheet called Dots & Lines Six by Reminisce; I liked the vertical marks and browns to go with the vertical/soaring of the hot air balloons; light gray linen paper (stash); blue copy paper (Colorbok); deckle-edge scissors (Fiskars); black ink pad for edging (Hero Arts)

24. didn't use smooshing or dabbing!

25. sentiment as focus = I created a Google Doc; font size is at 45!; due to low printer ink toner, I went over the lettering with a black Sharpie

where #2 will be linked =

2A. Girlz Creative Fun Art of Scrap; new on Oct 25; theme is to use at least 1 designer paper; on this New Year hot air balloon card, the base is a designer paper with a brown marks staggered print

2D. The Paper Funday; about 1 day left open; theme of anything goes or opt of cute or creepy; this New Year 2026 card is neutral/anything goes...yet I'm creeped out by the thought that 2025 is almost over!!! Crazy!

My ConBC #15 Column B and G Themes DT cards for 1 September 2025

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: this is the latest DT commitment project for ConBC or Christmas or not Bingo Challenges. The bingo board columns Bb and Gg was used to create these cards. The Christmas card had been made for awhile but the white on white slimline card was a last minute decision. We've got 1 DT member on vacation and 2 columns hadn't been used by the members, so I thought I'd tackle one of those missing represented columns...column B

when: ConBC #15 starts on September 1, 2025 and ends on October 15th.

what: Project #1 = All white Christmas mini slimline card

and a 2nd scan trying to put more pressure but I think the results look almost the same:

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. white cardstock is recycled packaging

2. satin sheen paper = CutCardStock

3. white/diamond cut glitter with thin gold metallic edging "MC" dazzles/ stickers = Hot Off The Press

4. white glitter foam snowflake sticker = from pack = Crafter's Square

5. netting can in circles = from pack = Crafter's Square

6. string = old stash item

how Column B was used:

mini slimline = base is 5.5" long and about 3" deep

*white on white = monochrome with cardstock, satin sheen paper, white/diamond cut glitter sentiment and white glitter foam snowflake + off-whites/old stash items = netting and string

* free = gold metallic edging on the sentiment

* netting or tulle = started as a circle, cinched in the middle and tied with string then trimmed short on each side in order to fit the mini slimline

* textured details = dimensional foam tape to life the 4.5" or less deckle-edge white cardstock layer, satin sheen paper, netting, string, distressed edges on base, snowflake and the raised gold edging on the sentiment words

where #1 will be linked: (white on white Christmas slimline card)
