My Pinspirational #343 DT teal and red color combo 1 Nov 2026

who: Hello! I'm Becca S, a 60+ year old artsy-craftsy blogger who has lived in Illinois during three stages of life. A handful of different villages/towns during those life stages. The first 2 stages were close together and were parent-driven. Then 23 years ago, my hubby was wanting a change of location (rural St. Charles County Missouri) and was the one to put us into north central Illinois. 

where: This blog post showcases a new design team project for Pin-spirational (owned by Deanne) with a color combo theme of teal and red. 

when: #343 begins November 1st and is open for the month.

why: I joined Deanne's design team at the end of last year to help her for 2026. Her theme this year was to do color pairings, trios or a quartet of colors and with my extensive stash, I felt that this was do-able for me without needing to do any special purchasing (unless I wanted to! wink-wink!)

what: Teal and Red = Comfy Cozy Christmas Greetings card

how:

1. white A2 folded left side card base (w/ envelope) = from a pack = Crafter's Square

2. knitted teal and white patterned paper and 4 ephemera = from Snow Pine Lodge collection = Simple Stories

3. red gel ink pen = Paper Mate's Ink Joy set (used for different highlights on the ephemera)

4. zig-zag decorative scissors = Wescott

5. tiny and small size red heart rhinestone gems = Nicole Brand Crafts

6. two small sentiments: 'here's to you' and 'sending love' stamps = Everyday Greetings tub of stamps set by Hero Arts (comes with a mini black ink pad) 

7. used a black gel ink pen = Paper Mate's Ink Joy set (to go over the stamping since they are thin font style)
