why: this is another page entry in My Mondrian Mondays Journaling notebook! Last Monday was skipped because of a head cold and also with hubby still recovering from a severe upper respiratory virus. yuck... Mondrian is for the famous Dutch artist from the late 1800s to early 1900s who did lots of geometric color block paintings. The color palette for #27 is for a current challenge at Cupcake Inspirations; see below. 

when: Monday, November 24, 2025 is the publishing date for #27 MMMJP.

what: Project #1 = Maroon & Gold & neutrals

how-to & vendor notes for #1 =

1. journal notebook with elastic band closure; 80 pages; grid/graph = bought at Dollar General store

2. colored pencils = several vendors in my stash box (Crayola, Marvy Uchida, Crazy Art)

3. mechanical pencil, Sharpie, ruler, black ink pen, index card for partial template/shapes = stash

4. also roll of dual-sided tape to serve as circle shapes = stash

5. gold is a gel highlighter = one of three colors, I believe: pink, silver and gold; the vendor might have been Creative Devotion; old stash item(s)
