Inspired By challenge 24 theme of garden snails card one

garden snails? How do you make a card or other paper crafted item feature garden snails?

Well, I put a musical twist to it for my cousin's upcoming birthday card. He has a wife and 4 children so I thought instead of partridges, snails would be used instead.

I had some different sizes and colors of foam snail stickers bought several years ago from Oriental Trading (huge amount of mixed shapes) and then used green patterned papers along with some lines of the lyrics--Voila'!!!=

After editing: I added several different ink colors around the edges to give the papers and especially the orange cardstock a more weathered look and added some shell definitions with marker and silver glitter as well as some slime trail marks across the card=

Before editing:

Travelin' along, There's a song that we're singin', Come on get happy! A whole lotta lovin' is what we'll be bringin', We'll make you happy!"

If I have time I might ink the orange cardstock to make it a bit toned down and maybe add some details to the snails. But that's my editing conscience speaking to me. I thought because of the red-orange large snail and the smaller orange snail, I would like the look of olive greens and orange together, but I'm thinking it's a B- card and I want to take it up to an A look....but that's me....

Here is another after photo: {would love for some of you to give feedback of which view you like better}
