Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! Don't you just love supporting local farmers' markets and/or going to their farms/orchards? Maybe you've got fruit trees, grape vines or raspberry brambles, etc. at your home? This is a sweet theme for My Time To Craft challenge blog for #484.
#484 starts June 17th and ends June 30th.
inspiration project #1:
SWEET--the sweet life slimline card=

A few design and vendor notes for SWEET=
a. Several pieces to make this card were from a kit I put together based on the recipe from The Great Stash Bash challenge blog. (green cardstock base, the market scene journaling card, the alphas, the red foil heart)
b. 2 decorative tapes from different vendors were layered under the lettering
c. the little sweet life text die-cut and the green delicious apple came from Simple Stories Card Kit "Love Grows Here"
d. the market scene journaling card is from Webster Pages; so is the button and twine (different collection)
e. slimline style sizing

Inspiration project #2= Have a Sweet Summer thinking of you card
The summertime acetate outer frame with an insert panel section left intact are from an old frame and journaling panels set from KI Memories. There's a light pinkish/peach cardstock underneath and a smaller yellow paper panel that had the sentiment printed on it as a Google Doc. The wood die-cuts were bought at Dollar Tree. The pineapple came in that dynamite gold metallic glitter. The watermelon and orange slices were light wood. Marker colors were applied first and then glitter paint pens applied on top. The orange one got a bit thick and looks better in person, especially when you tip the card in different directions and catch the light. Have a sweet summer, crafty friends!!!

DeleteGorgeous cards. I love the colour combo you've chosen with all those bright colours. And you've played very well with different fruits to create more layers and dimension. Hugs, María.
