My HQFCB #10.5 (old TFATU) Reminder Fantasy DT Projects on 20 October 2024

purpose: This posting showcases my newest fantasy design team projects for Heart's Quest Fantasy. 

when: #10.5 is the reminder post Anything Goes Fantasy theme with October's focus option on Griffins; competition started October 5 and will end on the 31st

what: Project #1 = Welcome to the world, little griffin! 

notes on #1:

1. flat kraft base with matching envelope = Recollections

2. white pearl hearts = Recollections

3. bright pink cardstock mat = Recollections

4. purple glitter specialty paper, dot paper, ribbon = Crafter's Square

5. image printed in color (all neutral tones) Microsoft Bing Image Creator (Ai-generated) with yellow alcohol markers and some pale pink/lavender ones plus colored pencils in honey brown and pink; then image was given border with blue (stash)

what: Project #2 = fairies in the autumn forest 

notes on #2:

21. Microsoft Designer/Ai-generated image = added black fine tip outlining on fairies' wings and a bit of orange colored penciling behind the sentiment

22. base leafy stem print paper = old SU

23. brown cardstock scrap panel = Recollections

24. light peach/flesh tone cardstock scrap = Neenah

25. wood stars were colored/painted with combo of markers and glitter paint pens = stars from Art Skills

26. mini dots in 2 colors = Crafter's Square

27. papers/cardstocks perimeters ink edged = black Hero Arts ink pad

My fairies' card has a combination of wood stars and mini dots and the baby griffin which I'm linking up has 2 white pearl finish hearts. Just like in my personal dressing, I like accessories--earrings, bracelets, scarves, brooches/pins, etc.

purpose: This posting showcases my newest fantasy projects for Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges blog (HQFCB) that was known formerly as The Fairy and The Unicorn (TFATU). I took over ownership on Nov 11, 2022 and in 2024 we've embraced a few changes such as a monthly fantasy focus option and expanding the accepted formats. 

when: HQFCB #10 starts October 5th and ends October 31, 2024.

what: PROJECT #1 = Gnome and Mushroom House

notes for #1: mini vertical slimline size and format

1. butterscotch cardstock cut to 3" wide x 7" high = old Pen + Gear

2. reddish-brown marker, black marker; colored pencils = stash

3. orange gems (3) = Art Skills

4. five small stickers plus the gnome and fave things print cardstock = Enchanted Gardens collection by Fancy Pants Designs

5. mushroom house digital image = ? I think it's from Polkadoodles

what: PROJECT #2= HQFCB's October fantasy focus option of Griffin (eagle faced & winged creature with a lion body)

notes for #2: Griffin

1. base print paper = SU

2. focal background on white cardstock = Neenah

3. focal background stencil = Pink & Main

4. balsa wood die-cut with blue marker applied first and then a turquoise blue glitter paint pen applied for top coat = paint pen and die-cut = Crafter's Square

5. image of Griffin = free for personal use = The ClipArt Library website

6. a variety of colored pencils used for the stencil and Griffin = stash

7. image printed on white paper, fussy cut, colored, then applied to a butternut squash color cardstock which was outlined with a black marker = old Pen + Gear for cardstock

8. gems = Crafter's Square
