PPCC blog 374 and Inspired By spring sunshine challenges

Spring sunshine?!?  with Bonnet Birdie digital image

I thought about titling this "Spring--Wherefore art thou, brother?" (tee-hee)

Snowflakes on Easter Sunday and today's weather has started with rain and is to end with snow sometimes it feels like in central Illinois we need to have a sliding scale for the seasons. Two weeks ago we were able to sit on our back deck and enjoy 2-3 hours of sunshine and to even get sunburned!!! But oh, some day again soon hopefully?!?!!??

IB blog had a cheery inspiration photo and sketch to use either separately or combined like I did:

I altered the sizes and arrangements of layout sections to accommodate the digital images since I printed them at 2.5" square and didn't want them to be smaller than that. I really like how this turned out and due to the yellow-yellow/orange-yellow/green palette it stayed very cheerful like the challenge photo and sketch!

Get all the details here:

And for my design team at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges blog find out all the details from the prize sponsors, how to participate guidelines, etc. at this link: http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.com/2018/04/welcome-to-pennys-challenge-374-plus-dt.html

Sparkle n Sprinkle (my digital image and about half of the DT comes from them) sponsor badge:

Digi Doodle Studio sponsor badge: (half the design team uses their images)

and a few more photos of this sunshine theme card:

I like the above photo but when photographing with cell phone it just didn't seem too defined so the photo at the very start of this post will have the final edited version with black outlining around 3 paper sections that don't have stamping or images. I like both versions of this and you will probably see some variations of the sketch throughout the spring and summer.

And the inside panel has some thin horizontal strips of paper to contrast with the front panel's more vertical columns formatting:

    1. Danni: Wow! This is a big compliment for me since you are the one to collaborate with Laurel to have the sketch available as part of the challenge. Thanks!
