Sketch Challenge and Stenciling for this newest Christmas Card

This year thus far, I've made more Christmas cards than ever before December 1st and am excited to get another one added to the stack!!! This card focal features new stencils that I thought would work really well to replace the trees/triangles and tag/rectangle shape areas on the sketch from 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog.

{sorry! This is not my best work. And a little red piece of tape or something got on my printer glass, so that's bugging me, too...ugh! The items just didn't come together like I had hoped.}

If I have time I will try again to use the sketch. I know I'll not make the sketch deadline, but I will use it for my own practice homework.

e. Jingle Belles; Friday, November 8 reveal; theme= "Baby It's Cold Outside", so show clothing to keep warm; {don't know if this qualifies, but the silver patterned paper reminded me of a knitted sweater and then I have buttons on the card instead of sequins or other small dot accents.}

    1. Jane: thank you for your kind words! I've got the card standing on top of the printer lid and it's growing on me for liking it a bit more! From a distance and when it's not so bright, the contrast between the silver metallic and flat light blue snowflake paper plus the stenciled images isn't so harsh. Then it become a bit more focused on a color palette of light greens, blues, and grays.
