My Ally's Angels #104 design team project for 15 March 2026

why: This post showcases a new design team project for Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog! The theme is anything goes so that makes it super easy to participate! Our sessions are also offset to go from mid-month to mid-month of the next which gives participants an open challenge at the end of a month when most are closed. This stamping and inking is different for me because I did a lot of fussy cutting and arranged in a zig-zag manner instead of a circle or square arrangement. (This photo was my 3rd scan on the printer trying to reduce the shadowing on the right side of the card!!!)

what: Project #1 =

how-to & vendor notes for #1 = 

1. white cardstock cut three different size panels = Georgia Pacific (base + focal + sentiment strip)

2. yellow paper = Colorbok

3. Canary Yellow alcohol ink marker = Arteza

4. pinkish-lavender colored pencil = Marvy Uchida (for the surrounding focal panel)

5. yellow, olive green and pale green, light blue and lavender markers = different companies in stash box

6. Guava/pink-coral ink stamp pad = Lawn Fawn (sentiment)

7. dark purple fine tip marker and a dark green fine tip marker to fill in the block font lettering of the sentiment = stash box

8. deckle-edge decorative scissors = Fiskars

9. green colored pencil = Marvy Uchida (for perimeter on yellow circle, focal panel and sentiment strip)

10. foam squares are used between the focal panel and base to add dimension

11. floral stamps (spray, cluster and single flower used 3 times) from same clear stamp set = Crafter's Square [NBUS; never before used schtuff; 1st time to use]

27. blue floral framed image was cut from a 12" sheet print CS with multiple framed florals or birds or phrases = Antique Garden collection by K & Company
