Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!
why: This posting showcases two different types of Bible journaling that I started in 2026. These forms of Bible studies have been done in the past. I'm still behind actual calendar time with the Scripture writing plan, working yet on January verses. And my chosen Word of the Year are two words that are synonyms: overcome and conquer. I've been alternating with the synonyms and Scripture containing those words. Two verses for overcome/overcometh and two for conquers/conquered/conquerors and now 1 verse for overcome.

2A. Path of Positivity; midway/still open; anything goes (opt to use 3 gemstones); My project is an encouraging reminder from Jesus to His listeners: 'be of good cheer, I have overcome the world'! PTL! In the midst of the trials of life, human nature, we/me can find peace through Jesus! John 16:33

2B. Papercraft Challenges; new on March 15; theme is joy of spring; Since I wrote my Word of the Year journal series card #5 today on March 17 (St. Patrick's Day), I chose light green tones of colored pencils for the large heart and used a green ink pen to do the title line, box highlight around 'overcome' and the page/card entry # in the bottom right corner. Green is the color for clover/shamrocks, part of the Irish flag, and is a color associated with growth/growing
