why: MMMJP started a year ago! There are 80 sheets in this journaling notebook and I skip at least 1 page in between the geometric design pages. 33 x 2 = 66 approx. pages used so far. Mondrian is famous Dutch artist/painter Piet Mondrian who lived in the late 1800s to early-mid 1900s. 

how: 

1. journaling notebook = 

2. 4" x 6" index card for my stencil main rectangle shape

3. a square stencil template = from a teacher's media set of basic shape stencils from the late 1980s or early 1990s; ---- Shaeffer

4. black fine tip marker for main rectangle = Sharpie

5. lines for the squares and circles = 4 color ink set = Paper Mate's Ink Joy

6. circles were made with the cardboard 'tube' from a roll of foam adhesive tape

7. colored pencils (variety of hues) = Marvy Uchida
