My MTTC #548 Anything But a Card theme DT project on 29 November 2024

why: this posting showcases my newest design team contribution for My Time To Craft challenge blog! #548! The theme picked by another DT member is 'anything but a card'. Technically I'm using an index card BUT it is not a standard greeting card style, so I'm going with this! :)

when: #548 starts November 29 and the challenge is open for 13 days

what: entry #1 art journal (in a bullet style variation) = 1 layer wonder!!

notes: index cards with cover and 'belly band' with metal ring was purchased for $1.25 plus tax at Dollar Tree; this is my first entry

1. three/3 ink stamp pad colors from SU (lemon lime twist, tangerine tango, rose red)

2. one/1 ink stamp pad color from Lawn Fawn (espresso brown)

3. one/1 ink stamp pad color from Hero Arts (black)

4. 'girl boss hustle' cling stamp = Hampton Arts

5.  thinking of you wood stamp = old/stash; maybe Studio G

purpose: This is a non-design team commitment so a couple of current challenges were picked to drive the inspiration for this card and then linked to a few additional ones that assisted with organization and layout ideas. 

when: created on Nov 25th and published on November 26, 2024

what: So Thankful Mice card

notes:

1. sage/mint green cardstock base was cut to 4" wide x 6" high = Neenah

2. "country plaid" print paper = Recollections

3. strip cut from some french-wired ribbon (leaf print) = Crafter's Square

4. green cardstock scrap panel = Crafter's Square

5. white cardstock = Neenah

6. three stamp ink pads (Tangerine Tango/orange, Lemon-Lime Twist/yellow-green, and Rose Red) = SU

7. yellow cardstock scrap = old Pen + Gear

8. brown/bronze glitter waffle textured specialty paper cut to short banner = Crafter's Square

9. kraft cardstock scrap = Art Skills

10. three mice clip art image = free for personal usage = The Clipart Library website; printed on white copy paper; filled with a khaki brown and gray colored pencils

11. 'so thankful' stamp = old; I think it's either Studio G or Hampton Arts
