My MTTC #549 snow-related theme DT card for 13 Dec 2024

why/purpose: this blog post shares my newest DT project for My Time To Craft challenge blog #549. It was my time to suggest the topic and decided since MTTC is not tied to a specific season or occasion that we would go with a weather. Snow! Snow forts. Snowballs. Snowflakes. Snow-covered fields. Snow-covered trees. "Something snow-related" theme. 

when: #549 debuts on Friday December 13 and lasts 13 days. 

what: Snow Globe and Snowflakes

notes:

1. white cardstock base A2 size = Crafter's Square

2. blue cardstock panel = Pen + Gear

3. pale blue with white snowflake print paper = Martha Stewart (approx. 5+ years old)

4. snow globe cut-apart card = ?/I think it's FPD; several years old

5. white glitter foam snowflake stickers and clear gems = Crafter's Square

6. decorative tape/border = ?/unknown; received in a kindness box

1. kraft A2 card with matching enveloped = Crafter's Square; used half for the base and then 'shrank' the upper kraft piece using decorative edge scissors; inked with Wild Wasabi from SU

My MTTC #536 Winter Theme DT card on 14 June 2024

when: MTTC or My Time To Craft #536 winter theme starts June 14 and ends June 20, 2024

what: Wintery Outdoors Christmas Collage card

notes:

1. two angled 6" square cardstock bases = Art Skills

2. the 6" x 8" collage print thin cardstock is from Fruitcake and Tinsel paper pad = Fancy Pants Designs

3. "MC" stamp and the leaping deer stamp (repeated 3x) = Busy Sidewalks stamp set = Crate Paper/American Crafts

4. cocoa brown ink pad = Lawn Fawn

5. short pine tree stamp (repeated 3x) is from an unmarked set

6. gold snowflake 'dazzles'/stickers = Hot Off The Press

7. silver and blue foil star stickers = ?; maybe Dollar Tree

8. white and silver paint pen-style markers = Art Skills (dots randomly placed around the collage paper and the white marker was also used to put on top of deer (bottom right corner), on top of the sleigh (left side)

MTTC #499 Theme is Snowman DT inspiration card for 13 January 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! My heart's so happy to use some of my January TGSB kit and an older patterned paper from The Paper Studio. It was given to me for Christmas from my sister probably 4 years ago. The showcased card on today's post is for the #499 Theme of Snowman/Snowmen for My Time To Craft challenge blog!

MTTC's #499 runs from January 13-26, 2023. Bragging rights are possible. Each participant can enter up to 3 new themed projects. And these do NOT have to be Christmas cards. They can be Winter Season Wishes, snowy Valentine themed cards, January birthday cards, or maybe February birthday cards depending on where you live. Where I live, we still get snow in March and even sometimes into April--even ice! Be creative!

Krafty Chicks #645 January 5-11 Guest Designer Project for Stamp Theme

I'm heart happy to share that I've been asked to be a Guest Designer or Guest Chick for January 2023 at Krafty Chicks challenge blog!!! (squeal!)

Week 1: January 5-11 (new weeks start on Thursdays) = #645 theme =Stamp

[stamps with blue ink are "HVD" and the floral heart; both were purchased from Sum More Fun]

a. cursive love text print cardstock (Webster Pages) had white background; I used a gray colored pencil to shade it in

b. a mint green heart print on clear plastic overlay panel (Webster Pages)
