February 2020 Week 1 Sketch Challenge for 52 CCT Blog

Welcome to my blog, Becca's Heart for Creativity! This blog post features my 5th of 52 Christmas cards to create this year for 52 CCT Blog. For the 1st week of February 2020 the challenge is to use the following sketch design for your Christmas card's layout. Here's my interpretation:

required sketch for 1st week of February 2020

#5-2020 for 52 CCT

That 3rd square had been tweaked many times and it still was a bit twisted when I saw the results after scanning!!! UGH!! The adorable snowman patterned paper was part of my Christmas gifts from my sister. I was very anxious to use some of it!

The card's overall dimensions are 5" x 7". The snowman print was cut to 4.5" wide by 6.5" high.

Caramel gold grosgrain ribbon and mini white rickrack have been in my craft supplies for a long time.

The gold thickers "Together" was part of a set by American Crafts that I purchased through Peachy Cheap website/e-newsletter.

The light 'smoke' cardstock squares were outlined in black with a silver glitter paint pen border surrounded by gold paint pen on each side to give some shimmer.

The white foam snowflakes also have silver glitter but that wasn't really captured by the scanning of the card for downloading.
