February 2020 Week 3 Theme of Cocoa for 52 CCT blog

Hi, welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity. This posting is about cocoa or hot chocolate as the theme for week 7 of 2020 or 3rd week of February at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge blog.

Can you believe that this weekend marks the 7th of 52 weeks in 2020? Cray-cray!!! This is a busy print-filled card filled with those cozy images associated with cocoa and winter-time. Remember this is a Christmas cards only blog.

Further in the posting, I'll share a bit about all the different vendors, but here's the 1st look at my design team inspiration card for 52 CCT=

More details about how to participate, rules, deadlines, bragging rights, other DT cards, etc. can be found using this link= https://52cct.blogspot.com/2020/02/february-theme-challenge.html

notes about supplies and vendors=
a. the "Ugly Sweater" stationery was a notepad;
b. "cozy" alpha stickers
c. the steaming cup of hot chocolate/cocoa is a rub-on transfer from a set by Echo Park
d. the cut-apart journal card was part of the cardstock/paper collection from Bo Bunny along with the pinkish red print under it and the reindeer print background paper.
e. reindeer clothespin was 1 of 4 dark stained (w/ 4 natural wood) purchased at Wal-mart this past season
f. kraft cardstock, gems, white snowflake, and cording have been in my stockpile as well as the buttery cream-colored cardstock serving as the base (red paper is used to block out light of the scanner of my printer).

a. Jingle Belles; started Friday, Feb 14; theme of Rudolph the RED Nosed Reindeer; lots of red
[my card's scanning has toned down most of the reddish tones making them look either pinky-coral or brown; however the 'ugly sweater' stationery sheet in reality has reddish tones, the paper under the journal card cut apart is a tonal red; the brown metallic border on the cut-apart card is actually a dark red like the lettering for sleigh ride and hot cocoa; and the green reindeer print cardstock has a bit of the dark red metallic foil visible in a few small spots; 2 of the letters in cozy--the c & o--are dark reds and then the cup of cocoa is the boldest bright red.]
