Loving my HAOOCAYR #27 on June 1 DT projects

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: This post showcases my design team projects for some of the themes at HAOOCAYR (used to be HCAYR) #27 on June 1, 2025. The main themes each month are Halloween and Birthday. The optional/extra themes for #27 are Fruits/Veggies and/or Great Outdoors. This month I decided to do a Halloween card for my stash plus the great outdoors friends card.

when: #27 starts June 1 and ends on June 30, 2025

what: Project #1 = Halloween main theme

how-to notes for #1 = the tiny brad says "Boo Crew" and the larger brad says "Spook tacular!"

1. orange cardstock started as 4.5" wide x 7" tall; trimmed 1/2" for a 6.5" height = Recollections

2. gray print paper, ghost print paper, both brads, chipboard banner sticker = all from "FaBOOlous" by Simple Stories

3. two ghosts are rub-on transfers (cut from a sheet of mixed Halloween/creepy images like snakes and spiders) = Crafter's Square

4. black stamp pad to smudge and ink perimeters of the papers = Hero Arts

where #1 will be linked =

1A. Girlz Creative Fun Art of Scrap; new on May 25; use at least 1 designer paper; on my Halloween card, I've got 2 patterned papers (gray and black print + ghosts on pale peach-pink print)
