Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!
why: This post's focus is on my next manager/DT commitment project for MTTC or My Time To Craft, a paper-crafting/hybrid/digital challenge blog.
We're in the midst of requiring certain shape bases for card entries. This time another DT member chose 'arch'. I decided to repeat an arch three times: iris print paper layer, the light blue cardstock layer and the purple cardstock base layer.
when: MTTC #561 starts on May 30, 2025 and ends 13 days later.
what: "Blessing" card
how-to notes:
1. light blue cardstock scrap = Neenah
2. iris print paper (trimmed with deckle-edged decorative scissors) = part of a multi-design stationery set through mail solicitation =
3. gold foil 'blessing' rub-on transfer = part of a multi-word/phrase sheet of rub-on transfers = Crafter's Square
4. enamel dot stickers = Freckled Fawn
5. enamel heart stickers = Recollections
6. purple cardstock started as a 6" square; the base layer is about 3.5" wide and almost 6" high at the top center = Art Skills
7. black dual-tip marker (fine tip used for outlining the blue arch shape and the broad tip used for outer edging of the purple arch base) = Art Skills

An awesome card with a very elegant design thanks to the colour combo and that paper. And the enamel dots and hearts are a fantastic decoration. Hugs, María.
