why: this posting's purpose is to share a fairly quick and easy to make scraps card! If you saw last week's #7, this is very similar. For #8 I used some different colors of strips, a smaller size card base and a patterned paper behind the weaving.

how-to notes =

1. white A2 size cardstock base (with envelope) = pack from Crafter's Square

2. colored pencils = stash (Marvy, Crayola)

3. yellow and gray plaid paper = Recollections

4. "everyday magic" stamp = Shimelle

5. scrap strips = vendors include = Pen + Gear, Art Skills, Crafter's Square

6. dimensional pop-up embellishments = Little Birdie Handmade Embellishments; made by artisans in India (bird and 2 flowers from same set; butterfly from a diff. set)
