Another Scripture Writing Journal Page + Word of Year Journal Card blogged on 25 Feb 2026

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: This project showcases 2 different Bible Study/Journaling personal projects' next installments made on February 24 and blogged on February 25. Through the Christian Card Makers Women's Fellowship group in Facebook, I use the Scripture Writing Plan(s) shared by the group administrator. Since I didn't get this started in January, I've been using February days to go back to the January verses. Most days have more verses/passages given but I've edited because of playing 'catch-up'.

In January, I started doing index card type journal pages/entries for my 2026 Word of the Year (from the Bible). Because I'm at 8.5+ years since a major medical event and just under 1.5 years since my mom passed, I felt the synonyms of 'overcome' and 'conquer' were the best for my 2026 spiritual journey. January's pages 1 and 2 used 'overcometh' and for February pages 3 and 4 using conquers, conquered and conquerors.

when: projects completed on Tuesday February 24 and blogged on Wednesday February 25, 2026.

  1. Ooh, what a great idea to use the root words and find the derivatives in the text. This is a wonderful way to study. I wish I knew Greek and Hebrew and could read the scriptures from those languages; using the root words in those languages would be interesting, also. The word 'love' alone could keep me busy for years! Anyway, I digress...thanks for sharing with us at Path of Positivity! Katrina

  2. Becca, this is so very sweet and precious. I love the fact that you have chosen a Christian word of the year. Overcoming is such a powerful thing in our lives. I’m so glad that that means a lot to you as you have overcome illnesses and the passing of your mother. This is so special that you are able to do this journal writing. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Word Art Wednesday!

  3. Becca, In a world filled with stress and strife, many people are barely "hanging on." So your scripture study of "overcome" and "conquer" is a wonderful way to find, and maintain, balance and hope. May God Bless you in the coming days. And thanks for sharing your beautiful cursive project with us at the Positivity (POP) Challenge. We hope to see you back again soon! Kathy A
