My Mondrian Mondays Journal Page #30 + January 2026 Scripture Writing Page 4

Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: This posting shares two different personal projects: My Mondrian Mondays Journal Page #30 and my January 2026 Scripture Writing Plan page 4. For my Mondrian influence, I did the little blocks of colors while leaving some blank/white like he did in his geometric block/grid acrylic paintings. 1. The way you colored your Mondrian page is so appealing to me. I love the way the white pops on this! It's almost like it creates an optical illusion; very fun! Thanks for sharing with us at The Outlawz Anything but a Card. Katrina

  3. Your Mondrian-inspired grid has such a crisp, confident rhythm. The balance of filled and open blocks gives the page a lively pulse, and the mix of gel pen and colored pencil adds great texture. I also enjoyed seeing how your Scripture writing pages carry a completely different mood yet feel just as intentional. The contrast between the structured geometry and the flowing cursive makes this pairing especially engaging.
