purpose: starting May 1, 2024 I will be a design team member for Deanne's Halloween Crafts (and other occasions) All Year Round challenge blog; in April 2024 she decided to revamp this slightly and will have 3 other occasions as options in addition to Halloween
when: May 1, 2024; I will not be sharing/publishing this post until May 2
what: Set 1 are Halloween gift tags
notes for all 6 tags made during 1 craft session:
*ivory cardstock bases cut to ATC size (2.5" x 3.5") from Neenah
*ink colors were applied with cotton ball being pounced; using Tangerine Tango, Lemon-Lime Twist, and Fresh Fig from Stampin' Up classic ink pads; using Sugarplum small square ink pad by Lawn Fawn
*jute twine and 3 colors of cording are from stash
*all clipart images = free for personal use = The Clipart Library website
*all sentiments typed in a Google Doc
*black fine tip gel pen for outlining
additional notes for Set 1:
1. orange and purple plastic gems came in same package = Crafter's Square
and
Set 2 are two of the May 2024 other occasions: birthday and celebrate your country
(I chose not to do Father's Day.)

1. for birthday gift tag = Pea Green and Cherry Red alcohol markers by Arteza; lavender alcohol marker by Nuvo and green plastic gems from Crafter's Square
2. for service to country/hometown gift tags for my brother and nephew = red and blue pearl-type gems are from Crafter's Square; also red colored pencil from stash used to add color to the fire department Maltese cross crest; also navy blue ink dots added with Whale Blue alcohol marker by Arteza

e. Firefighter tag= Inspiration Station; current; see photo/Earth Day; my firefighter tags are to thank my brother and nephew for their community service for protecting my hometown/their hometown, caring for the its citizens, protecting their homes, etc.

f. Firefighter tag = Path of Positivity; almost over/extended; anything goes encouraging with Power of Words/Love and Relationships; the firefighter tags are for 2 of my loved ones, my brother who is our hometown's fire chief (this is his 37th or 38th year as chief of the volunteer district) and he was a captain for 3 years before that; and now his 19 year old son started as a cadet at 15 and since his 18th birthday, is now considered a firefighter and has had some first responder training like his dad/my brother; these little tags are just a small token of my love and appreciation for all their doing
