My MTTC #562 DT oval shape-based card theme project on 13 June 2025

why: This post's focus is my newest manager/DT commitment project for MTTC or My Time To Craft, a paper-crafting/hybrid/digital card challenge blog! We're getting close to ending our shaped base card(s) required theme series. Another DT member selected 'oval' for the #562 theme. And again I decided to embrace ovals with 4 of them layered on this card! = green cardstock oval base, the aqua inked chipboard wreath, the "Fresh Fig" inked oval seen partially under the left side of the chipboard wreath and a napkin print oval layered on the inked oval to the center and right side under the chipboard wreath!!!

when: MTTC #562 starts on June 13, 2025 and lasts for 13 days. 

what: An Oval Garden Delight card

how-to notes:

1. green cardstock cut to oval (a bit skewed/wonky but close) = old Pen + Gear

2. white cardstock scrap cut to smaller oval = Georgia Pacific

3. white cardstock oval inked ===> "Fresh Fig" stamp pad by S.U. 

4. napkin (partial panel of folded napkin) cut same size as the white/inked oval = Lenox (received for a napkin swap in a Junk Journaling group a few years ago)

5. enamel dots = Freckled Fawn

6. gold foil puffy heart = part of a Thickers package/American Crafts

7. pink pearls and jumbo dots = different packages by Crafter's Square; also 2 green crystal gems

8. chipboard wreath, 3 flowers and 1 dragonfly = part of an 11 piece set = Hot Off The Press via Paper Wishes website

9. layered purple flower (pop-up) stickers = Crafter's Square

10. Pea Green alcohol marker by = Arteza

11. Lilac Grey alcohol marker = Nuvo

12. Beach Blue alcohol marker = Arteza

13. teal green/blue marker = not sure/watercolor type = stash item

14. semi-circle embellishments help disguise the edge of the napkin

My MTTC #539 Summertime Fun Theme DT display card for 26 July 2024

purpose: this posting's masterpiece is my latest manager/DT contribution for My Time To Craft challenge blog

when: #539 starting July 26 for 13 days; we start new themes every other Friday morning all year long; #539 theme is summertime fun

what: a 6.75" square display card = Hello Summer

notes:

1. the balsa wood print beach ball was bought at Dollar Tree!!!; it was a DIY color kit with 4 little markers (aqua, green, yellow, pink (1 of the tones)); (+$1.25)

2. additional markers from my stash; including 

3. black dual-tip marker; permanent; Art Skills

4. pinkish-lavender used on edging = Wild Thistle by Nuvo, alcohol marker dual-tip

5. a white fine tip = Gelly Roll

6. I added the phrase "Hello Summer", the air pump plug spot, white and black dots to butterflies and flowers; and white accents on most of the black accent lines

7. napkin is top layer; 1/4 section; from set of 25 = bought at Dollar Tree (approx. +$1.25)

8. napkin is adhered to a panel of light pink cardstock and then backed/base of aqua cardstock = set of 4 colors/scrapbook size sheets = Dollar Tree (approx. less than 63 cents)

9. total cost = about $1.8925 plus tax to make this home decor display card

My MTTC #533 Friendship or Mothers Day theme DT project on 3 May 2024

purpose: this posting focuses on my manager/design team commitment for My Time To Craft challenge blog. I think that it has been more than 4 years that I've been creating cards every other Friday for!!!! That's a lot!!! With the theme topic changing every time, it keeps my mind and stash supplies changing and rotating. These are very good things!

1. butterflies and florals scene is a napkin!!! (received from a swap)

2. napkin applied to a blush pink cardstock panel cut to size = Neenah

3. pumpkin squash color cardstock and pink cardstocks cut and pieced to make the base = Art Skills

4. the sentiment 'cloud' was cut from a recycled inside panel of a card received from solicited organization mail

5. Pea Green alcohol marker to outline the sentiment 'cloud' = Arteza

6. black outlining and edging of cardstocks = Art Skills' dual-tip black permanent marker
