why: This posting features my swap card sent for the November Scripture Encouragement Card Event through the FB group of CCMWF or Christian Card-Makers Women's Fellowship. 

when: I made my card on November 9-10 and will be mailing to my swap partner on November 11. This blog post can't be shared until after she receives it and posts it within the group...shared on Fri Nov 21.

what: Project #1 =

1. white 6" square cardstock base = Georgia Pacific

2. Narwhal/gray, Walnut/brown, Pumpkin Spice/orange and Guava/pink-coral = Lawn Fawn stamp pads

why: this post showcases my newest DT commitment project with MTTCC or My Time To Craft Christmas, a challenge blog. #112 is the last in our series for designating a specific supply to use on Christmas cards. Glitter is the required supply item. I've got gold glitter on star stickers, gold glitter dove tree ornament and gold glitter outlined lettering stickers. Plus green glitter on the circle behind the dove!

how-to notes:

1. green cardstock panel cut to 4.5" wide x 6.5" tall = Pen + Gear

2. Christmas floral paper/scrapbook size, panel cut to 4" x 6" = Away in a Manger collection by Echo Park

3. green glitter paper = ?/possibly Pen + Gear or Crafter's Square

4. gold glitter dove = part of pack/set = Crafter's Square

5. gold glitter stars = from a pack of mix type and sizes of stars = Recollections

6. gold with gold hammered foil decorative tape = DIY Crafts/American Crafts

7. gold glitter block outline style lettering stickers = Crafter's Square

8. black dual-tip permanent marking pen to add on top of lettering stickers to help them show and contrast against the gold tape = Art Skills

My MTTC #544 Autumn Colors Theme DT card on 4 October 2024

purpose: This posting showcases my newest contribution as manager/DT member of My Time To Craft challenge blog. A DT member has suggested the theme topic of Autumn Colors. Love it!

what: "So Grateful In So Many Ways"

notes:

1. main focal panel is recycled mail from my husband's Medicare insurance provider!!! It's a Hallmark Business Connections product. I separated the front from the back and then tore the perimeter going in opposite directions on each side to vary the look

2. purple cardstock panel = Neenah

3. harvest gold color cardstock panel = Pen + Gear

4. gems and sunflowers (purchased at different times) = Crafter's Square

5. foam tape between the purple and harvest gold layers to give some dimension

My MTTC #539 Summertime Fun Theme DT display card for 26 July 2024

purpose: this posting's masterpiece is my latest manager/DT contribution for My Time To Craft challenge blog

when: #539 starting July 26 for 13 days; we start new themes every other Friday morning all year long; #539 theme is summertime fun

what: a 6.75" square display card = Hello Summer

notes:

1. the balsa wood print beach ball was bought at Dollar Tree!!!; it was a DIY color kit with 4 little markers (aqua, green, yellow, pink (1 of the tones)); (+$1.25)

2. additional markers from my stash; including 

3. black dual-tip marker; permanent; Art Skills

4. pinkish-lavender used on edging = Wild Thistle by Nuvo, alcohol marker dual-tip

5. a white fine tip = Gelly Roll

6. I added the phrase "Hello Summer", the air pump plug spot, white and black dots to butterflies and flowers; and white accents on most of the black accent lines

7. napkin is top layer; 1/4 section; from set of 25 = bought at Dollar Tree (approx. +$1.25)

8. napkin is adhered to a panel of light pink cardstock and then backed/base of aqua cardstock = set of 4 colors/scrapbook size sheets = Dollar Tree (approx. less than 63 cents)

9. total cost = about $1.8925 plus tax to make this home decor display card

MTTCC #66 Angels or Fairies Christmas DT inspiration card for 4 August 2023

Welcome to Becca's Heart For Creativity blog! I love having time to be creative with Christmas cards. I've tackled my Christmas paper keeper and my Christmas/winter embellishments box to mash-up old and new stock for this DT card.

WHAT: My Time To Craft Christmas challenge blog #66; Fairies or Angels theme

1. Echo Park = Away in a Manger collection: angel print cardstock and green tonal cardstock plus the little thin strip of burgundy tonal star print cardstock

2. Recollections = Heirloom Harvest collection paper pad: leafy print scrap

3. Hot Off The Press = red and white checked gingham paper scrap

4. Art Skills = caramel color cardstock from multi-color 6" square pack; trimmed to 5" x 6" 

5. Machudo = watercolor pencils (red and honey mustard brown) used to have angels' robes repeat some of the paper colors
